    Weekly Support Thread

    Hello! Welcome to this weeks Weekly Support Thread

    This thread is to help answer all of your simple questions, and keep /r/AppleWatch's front page clean! Got a simple question? Get a simple answer. It's as simple as that. The thread's been set to sort posts randomly to push all sorts of questions to the top.

    Before you ask, please make sure you've checked out our wiki's troubleshooting guide, searched it on Google, or used our subreddit search feature (wow, who knew that was a thing)! If you can't find an answer, you want some further insight, or you're just lazy, feel free to post your question here.

    What can I ask?

    If you've been asked to post your question here, then go ahead! Otherwise, if your question is one or two sentences long, and is pretty simple (such as asking for recommendations, apps, troubleshooting, app issues, etc), go ahead. If you need a lot more investigation, or you're asking for many opinions, go ahead and post it elsewhere (it may be removed if it's too simple, or it's deemed to be more suitable for here).

    Newbie here... was just gifted an Apple Watch Sport (I believe the 2015 model). Give me your tips!

    PLOT TWIST: I'm not into fitness or working out. I doubt I will use any activity features.

    Band Rash

    I like many others apparently have fallen to the Apple watch's infamous "band rash." The clasp(?) is made partially of nickel, which many people react to. Did anybody else have this issue and find a band that they didn't have issues with? I have a 38mm series 3. Thanks!

    Podcasts & AW

    I downloaded Outcast today so I could listen to a downloaded podcast on my run and it's amazing! I've had my watch for a few months and didn't know there were any podcasting apps you could use without your phone. Figured I'd let you all know incase someone is in a similar position.

    Workout Reporting?

    Is there any functionality that allows you to do advanced reporting on activities/workouts other than whats provided on the iPhone? All you can do on the iPhone is see you workout history but theres no advanced reporting options.

    Interested in finally buying an Apple Watch. What features do you enjoy most?

    I've been putting off buying an Apple Watch but recently I'm about to pull the trigger and buy one. I was looking at the Series 3 cellular. It seems that Instagram, Facebook, Pandora and a few other apps are all no longer supported which is a bit of a downer. What apps do you all use most frequently and what are your favorite features that make you glad to have your Apple Watched?

    I checked to see if this was asked but I didn't see anything that tailored to my question.

    So I have a series 3 watch with LTE and a iPhone X. I'm not sure if this changed with an update and if it did I am not sure when but before I was able to make calls on my watch through my air pods without it being handed off to my iPhone. Well you might be saying what's wrong with that, nothing really but before I made a call on my watch it stayed on my watch. So after I clock out for work I usually call my S/O on my watch and play music through my phone into my car speakers, obviously not loud but just to have some background music playing but now it gets handed off all the time and I can't switch it back over. I know it seems like a very first world problem but it's a feature I enjoyed before. Anyone experience this before?

    I've seen some posts about the series 4 coming out in September. How much do you think the series 3 will go down in price when the series 4 comes out? (Or how much did the series 2 go down in price when the 3 came out?)

    Are there any Apple Watch sensor protection films or stickers to prevent scratches?

    I found the milanese loop can create micro scratches on the sensor quite easily. Are there any protection films or stickers available on the market to prevent such scratches?
