My Android app and Windows browser both have a "live broadcast" streaming option but the Apple TV only has featured groups and amen corner. Perhaps I am doing something wrong. Holy cow I was watching Sicario and it literally looks like a disc. I'm a pain in the ass home theater enthusiast (calibrated plasma etc), so I surprised even myself feeling this way. BUT now all we need is HD audio support. The Dolby digital compression hurts my ears. Edit: weird, someone is coming in here downvoting everyting [link] [comments]  | ||
| Tons of lag, Pairing Remote for Apple 4k - "Bring Closer to continue pairing" Posted: 05 Apr 2018 03:56 PM PDT I am experiencing a ton of lag with my Apple TV 4k remote. Previously, with my 4th gen apple tv, I experienced zero lag. I tried to re-pair the remote but holding menu and volume up however it keeps telling me to bring the remote closer. I am literally one inch away. I am at a lose here. The lag is unbearable and makes the remote nearly unusable. If I pair the 4k remote with my 4th gen (which is in my bedroom now), then it works fine. Do I have a busted apple tv? [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 05 Apr 2018 09:27 PM PDT It appears that in iTunes on both my iOS devices and Apple TV the 4K or hdr tag on movies descriptions have been removed if I purchased the hd version through Movies Anywhere. | Suddenly, the Siri remote BT is disconnecting on its own Posted: 05 Apr 2018 07:07 AM PDT My ATV4K Siri Remote was great out of the box as far as always being connected via BT. But after this last update in early April, the remote disconnects from BT after a few minutes. A click of the remote button reconnects it but, this slows using it, and the annoying little BT connection box appears all the time. I preferred it as it was. It worked fine before. What is happening?! I have no new BT devices that might interfere so, I assume, this was something Apple caused in the update. [link] [comments]  |
