| Apple TV (gen4) restore problem Posted: 02 Apr 2018 10:03 PM PDT I have an Apple TV 4th Gen. and I just got a triangle caution sign telling me to restore it and to go to a website. On the Apple website it tells me to use a USB-C cable (which I don't have) to plug it into my laptop to restore it and update it on iTunes. Is there a way I can do this without spending money on a cable or how can I fix my Apple TV? [link] [comments]  | ||

I've tried flipping every setting on the TV app, deleting my viewing history and even resetting my Apple TV and they wont go away. | Posted: 02 Apr 2018 07:57 PM PDT So in the last week and a half I can no longer play any YouTube videos through the app on my Apple TV ( 4th generation) that are labeled HD or 4K. Is this a recent change? It just gives the spinning dots. Is this the app or something else? I've checked and my internet speed is more than adequate. I use a harmony remote and it seems pretty logical to have it be able to turn it off without going into a menu. Am I missing something? [link] [comments]  | ||

It worked perfectly in the last TVOS version. Movies with DTS audio only produce static noise in programs like MRMC. It seems it was a problem in the betas also but Apple went ahead and released this broken version to the public. DO NOT UPGRADE!
