Posted: 24 Mar 2018 09:38 PM PDT MacBook Pro specs: 13" early 2011, i5 Intel 4gb Ram; macOS high Sierra I bought it in 2011 and have regularly updated it to latest os. Lately it has been bugging me a lot. It's been sluggish and terribly slow. Can't run safari with 3 or more tabs. Can't run multiple programs at once. Someone suggested to perform a reset and it shud be good as new. Please suggest a detail way to perform a fresh install! [link] [comments]
Macbook + AirPods = only around 8' range? Posted: 24 Mar 2018 08:19 PM PDT I only get about 8' away before it's starts to get really crackly.. but with my Samsung S8+ I can go 25-30' away? Anyone else have these issues? Is the Bluetooth just not very good on Macbook laptops? [link] [comments]
Macbook Pro Keeps Switching to Full Screen Posted: 24 Mar 2018 03:07 PM PDT This is driving me nuts right now lol. I can't find much online that's helping solve this issue. My browser will randomly switch to full screen as I'm navigating webpages. Is there a way to easily turn this feature completely off? [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Mar 2018 06:46 PM PDT Hey all, curious if anybody can help me with a problem I've been experiencing. My 2011 Macbook Pro starts up just fine but every time I use it the screen goes black for 5-10 seconds and then comes back to where I left off. This happens about once every 15-30 minutes. It disconnects me from the current wifi I'm connected to as well. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Torn between Macbook and Macbook Pro 13inch (both base) Posted: 24 Mar 2018 08:55 AM PDT Macbook and Macbook Pro owners, what are your long term experiences of these machines? Any likes and dislikes? I am torn, don't know which one to get. I am not a youtuber or photographer, but I work in digital marketing so I do work a lot with photoshop, lightroom, Final Cut Pro...but not heavy use, nothing crazy. Real basic editing, and Final Cut Pro is basically for instagram stories. I love how the Macbook is so light and 256gb SSD, silent no fan, I would connect it to an external monitor when I'm home or in the office to get back more screen real estate. Macbook Pro starting at 128gb SSD is not enough for me. But is it much more powerful (in real day to day use), or can you not really tell the difference? Has anyone had issues with palm rejection with that huge trackpad? What about travelling with it? Airplane tables coffee shops etc. How about the fan? Does it starting whirring like crazy and making noise randomly? Eager to get your thoughts. [link] [comments] |
