- I have an iPhone 6 where one edge of the screen is unresponsive. I want to sell it for parts/to someone who repairs, what would a fair price be?

| Posted: 15 Feb 2018 07:30 PM PST I've got an iPhone 6 that's in perfect working order except for the fact that the rightmost 15-20% of the screen doesn't respond to touch. So you can't type 'p', but you can every other letter, for example. Visually it's fine. I already have a newer phone, so I don't want to fix it, I just want to sell it to someone who values the parts, or who thinks they can fix it. Just wondering what people think a fair price for a phone in this condition would be. [link] [comments]  |

I can't turn off the alarms because I can't use the touch screens so all I can do is snooze the alarms...my phone is at 68% battery with the battery saver on. I tried restarting it but it didn't work. Please help.....it's going off every nine minutes and I have like 4 set for 6 am. [link] [comments]  |
| iPhone 6S+ bleeding data. Help! Posted: 15 Feb 2018 05:47 PM PST So yesterday I started getting text messages from AT&T stating that I was going over data. This has happened once or twice before where I've gone over data for the month and they'd automatically charge my account $15 to add an additional 1GB of data. However, this time I was getting several of them in a row, and I wasn't even using the phone. Like, 8 additional GB added (so $120!!) within a few hours. Started to worry my account was hacked or something. I called AT&T and asked WTF? They were pretty unhelpful, and could only confirm that my phone was using tons of data. They blamed the problem on my iPhone and said it wasn't updated (it is), and all they could do was put a data block on my phone so it wouldn't use any more data. Then they told me to go to Apple store to run diagnostics on the phone. Did that, and Apple said phone is fine. Went to AT&T store in person and they had no idea what to do. So I completely wiped my phone and reinstalled everything in hopes it was a technical glitch. But still having the issue this am. Did a little googling and I think I may have found part of the problem: It seems like iTunes Media Services (under Settings > Cellular > System Services) is chewing up the data. But I can't figure out which program exactly is using it all. iTunes, Podcasts? A few people on internet seem to have this problem and have "solved" it by basically blocking all Apple apps from using any cellular data. But this seems like just a bandaid that doesn't address the root cause of the problem. And now I can't listen to Apple Music in car, or stream any podcasts while driving (which was never a problem before). Has anyone had this problem before? Or, any advice as to what to do to fix it? Do I just need to get a new phone and pray that fixes it? I have a 6S+, so I could upgrade, but I'd like to wait if possible. I'd appreciate any advice, yo. TLDR: Phone chewing up data.
