itunes starts playing by itself? Posted: 27 Jan 2018 12:50 AM PST Hi, another question by recent Windows - Mac switch person. Whenever I pause music in iTunes and leave the laptop for couple of minutes it automatically resumes playback - which to be honest is really annoying. Background: itunes is downloading music from Apple Music, macbook 13' 2017, High Sierra P.S. I have tried google but this is filled with people that WANTS to itunes to resume playback by itself in certain conditions. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Jan 2018 01:24 PM PST So, Apple launched a feature called Versions and Auto-Save many years ago with Lion, but many people disliked it, because it wasn't efficient and caused a bloated hard drive, so with some terminal tricks I and a lot of others (most likely) disabled, or at least partially disabled the function, but with many macOS versions later and a lot of improvements, I would like this feature to function again as it should on my installation of Sierra, however, I can't seem to figure out how to restore it system wide, it seems the function is available in some apps, but not in others, and the option to revert to a previous version of a file through finder seems to be gone from finder's menu (File/Archive > Revert) altogether. so let's get this topic going with all the terminal command tricks like default write etc plist this, plist that com.apple.whatchemecallit...and so on and so on so In my, case, i can use it in TextEdit, though it appears it's only for recent files I made with it, so I got an old text document (from 2015) that I hadn't touched/modified until last week, and it has no previous version from any time between last week to this week, but somehow that .rtfd document does have version from monday until today.... Also, some application, like Office 2016 do have the option in their menu, but word document i created last week do not have versions from then to today at all.... [link] [comments]

Sync between iMovie & iCloud failing Posted: 26 Jan 2018 04:59 AM PST
After dragging a movie file to iMovie. I try to Sync the file from the 'Theater' tab into iCloud. Progression bar appears but at the end the file doesn't have the cloud tag/symbol (that it has been sync'd with iCloud) When looking at the iCloud folder via Finder. I see that the iMovie folder is empty, searched for hidden files and found iCloud/iMovie/.trash iMovie Screenshot iCloud Screenshot Most of the video files were there, but with different names (ex.: DHn123831209jd.mp4) Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any help is highly appreciate EDIT 1: I was able to do this before. iMovie > upload to iCloud > watch it on AppleTV EDIT 2: Drag and Drop via Finder is not an option, the system doesn't allow it [link] [comments] |
