Why doesn’t Apple advertise the ecosystem as a whole more often? Posted: 26 Jan 2018 11:11 AM PST I think most people would agree one of the best parts about Apple products is how they work together but Apple never seems to highlight this in their advertisements. The closest thing I can think of is the recent Apple Watch ads with the person skateboarding with AirPods too. I think an ad showing someone switching between their Mac, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch and Phone would be super cool. The only reason I could think they wouldn't is to avoid overwhelming people. Anybody else have any thoughts? [link] [comments] |

Why is HomeKit not available on macOS? Posted: 26 Jan 2018 07:58 AM PST Why hasn't Apple added HomeKit as a feature into macOS? I would love to be able to control my lighting with a simple Home widget on my MBP. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 26 Jan 2018 11:22 PM PST So I'm tossing up the decision on whether or not to get Apple Music indefinitely. I'm a huge fan of owning my own music and owning the file locally on my MacBook or iPhone. But I'm also a huge fan of the convenience of having 45 million songs on the go, especially for those times I want to listen to a song I don't already have in my library. Originally when Apple Music released, I tried out the free trial, but it was really buggy and had issues. Has it changed much since release? What are your experiences with AM? What are your pros and cons? Are there other selling points for you? Money isn't really an issue, but keeping up with the subscription might be. I also don't like the thought of knowing that if you cancel you lose everything if you re-subscribe. Please don't bother mentioning Spotify, I'm only interested in AM at the moment... I recreated the iPad (iOS 3.2) wallpaper for iPhone X Posted: 26 Jan 2018 08:01 PM PST This is my favorite wallpaper ever! However it hasn't held up very well over time. If you take the stock one pulled from iOS 3.2 and try using it on iPhone X it appears pixelated and distorted. So I went ahead and recreated it. I took the stock picture and made over 212 edits to it to get it looking better on the iPhone X. I really like my work but decided to share it in case one of you want it. This will look stunning on your OLED display, but I'm sure if you take it on a computer and blow it up in a photo editing app you'll start seeing my edits, which is fine. I'm not claiming to be a professional editor. Anyways thanks for checking it out: [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Jan 2018 09:16 PM PST I searched online and saw that I could try connecting to other networks to see if it was a problem with the network or the device, or to reset my network settings, but both didn't work. So does anyone know what I should do? Any help will be appreciated. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Jan 2018 06:56 AM PST Apple recently included this with 11.3 beta: Apple is planning to introduce some improvements to music videos in the Apple Music app. According to Apple, Apple Music "will soon be the home for music videos." Users will be able to stream all the music videos they want without ads, and they'll also be able to view and create music video playlists. I guess my question is... how exactly will this change the Apple Music app? I've been streaming music videos fine for months and it seems to be the home for music videos already (without ads)?
