    Welcome to our weekly stickied App thread! This is a new idea so please feel free to offer your feedback about this thread or the subreddit in general in the comments. As usual if you have a serious issue with the subreddit please contact the moderators directly.

    This thread is intended to help members of the /r/iphone community get informed about new apps that are out there. App developers may also use this thread to make users aware that their new app exists.

    Please sort comments by 'new' to find questions/information that would otherwise be buried.

    In this thread you can ask any iOS app related question that you may have. Anyone may offer advice on any issue.

    Two examples of potential questions could be; "How do I learn to code an app?", or "How is app pricing determined?"

    Developers, please include as much information about your app as possible, including size, price, release info, and anything else people request.

    Finally, please stick to reddiquette and keep your comments on topic and substantive. Thanks for participating.

    To everyone who missed the signing window glitch, the glitch is still kinda there... as far as I know, 4S, 3GS, 3G, 2G, iPad 2 still has some kind of issue with the signing window, so go downgrade before apple fully recovers it!

    I got woken up late by my wife's alarm this morning and when I checked why my alarm didn't go off all my alarms and clocks were gone! iOS 11 just keeps getting better and better!

    Suggestions Needed - IPhone X Wireless Charger

    Okay so you redditors out there using wireless chargers can someone suggest to me a good wireless charger to use, one that supports fast charging as well as one that is decently priced. Hard to find I know, but the 60$ at the Apple store is a bit much. I searched the sub but can't really find definitive answers.

    For those that bought the Apple store ones, how are the lights on it? Extreme?

    If anyone has an Apple Watch/iPhone stand out there I'm looking for one of those too so if you could suggest one of those as well that would be a great, this doesn't have to be wireless.

    Redirected to spam sites while on Reddit

    Device: iPhone 6 iOS 11.1.2 App: Safari (in private mode by default)

    When browsing reddit for the past few days, I'll be reading comments or looking at an image and all of a sudden I'm redirected to spam sites (without even clicking on anything). It just happened and the browser kept jumping from one spam site to another without even stopping to load (that was a first). The only thing I can do is close the window, then I have to open a new one and load Reddit again. Wtf?! This has never happened to me on my phone before (I'm getting flashbacks of the old days on my PC when spam/malware was everywhere). I'm not sure if this is specific to the Reddit or not cause I spend most of my time in Safari on Reddit but so far has only happened on Reddit (I don't use the Reddit app, don't like it).

    Question: is spam/malware even possible on iPhones?? This this a Reddit issue? What can I do to stop this from happening? It's annoying to have to close the window and start fresh and have to log in to Reddit again and load my old page. Advice? Thanks in advance!

    I just found out you can hold the space bar to activate Dictation (voice typing)!

    Sorry If this is common knowledge but it blew my mind.

    Hold down the space bar to activate voice typing! It works as long as you hold the space bar and when you let go it stops.

    You don't have to press the Dictation button!

    The difference is the Dictation button doesn't need to be held down, it'll stay on till you press it again to exit Dictation.

    Edit: you need to activate Dictation in settings>general>keyboard>enable Dictation

    Edit: maybe this is iOS10 only?

    I started using the Pillow sleep tracking app, and I'm wondering if it is bad for you to sleep with the phone next to the pillow? I've searched around the Internet, and I'm getting mixed feedback.

    Should I switch off data and switch on airplane mode before I go to bed with the app?

    How much does turning off Background App Refresh actually save battery life?

    Turning off Background App Refresh is mentioned as one of the first ways to save battery life, but how much does it actually help? If the app still has to download new information when you open it, does that mean that you're just using more battery later and paying for it by having to wait for new info to load every time (for frequently used apps)?
