Do the black apple watches chip easily? Posted: 30 Jan 2018 07:12 AM PST I want to switch to a 42mm s1 space grey from my 38mm s1 silver. Does the paint chip easily on the space grey models? [link] [comments]

Apple Watch series 3 configuration problems or bugs? Posted: 30 Jan 2018 07:44 AM PST Dear friends: I'm new with an Apple Watch series 3. I have just update it but what I saw is that at 50% pressing the bottom right, turn off is disable and I'm unable to slice it. It's brand new the watch I have just updated the software. The other detail is that Siri works perfectly with English and Spanish, the languages set up on my iphone but with dictation it doesn't work it only understand and types English. Even though I have pressed strong and set up language in mail and messages to Spanish. Dictation only works with English. I speak both languages. As I'm abroad right now I need it to dictate in Spanish but it doesn't work despite the fact of having set it up both messages and mail on Spanish. Siri works perfectly with Spanish but dictation doesn't work. Can anyone guide me how to fix this? [link] [comments]
Outdoor Walk not counting as exercise Posted: 30 Jan 2018 01:17 AM PST Hello, I recently did an outdoor walk with the workout app and even with 15'11/km and 106 heart rate on average it didn't count as exercise. I know the exercise counter works automatically but still seems strange since i walk pretty fast. So i'm asking if you have some more informations about this situation. Thanks. Edit: 2 minutes were counted as exercise, but still, manually setting an exercise does nothing? [link] [comments]
Is The Workout App Horrifically Slow For Anyone But Me? Posted: 30 Jan 2018 08:29 AM PST Whenever I open the workout app, it sits there, sort of locked up, not letting me scroll to my chosen activity, for an inordinate amount of time. Then, finally, it lets me scroll. I've taken to opening it well before I want to start, waiting for it to get its shit together, starting the workout running and then pausing it until I'm actually ready to get started. It never used to be this way and seems to have started with the most recent update. (G2) [link] [comments]

Posted: 29 Jan 2018 12:56 PM PST It seems like the Watch needs to be placed flat down on the AirPower pad. This rules out all those that use loop bands, unless you'll disconnect the strap every time you charge. [link] [comments]
My apple watch stopped unlocking my mac Posted: 30 Jan 2018 08:01 AM PST I am not exactly sure when it stopped unlocking my mac. A few days ago there was an apple watch update and I think that's when the unlocking stopped working. [link] [comments]

Small business owner and Apple Watch cellular! Posted: 30 Jan 2018 03:46 AM PST I have a small business and I am with Telstra in Australia. My iPhone is on my business account, unfortunately Telstra do not offer a service for cellular on Apple Watch 3 on business accounts yet!! I was wondering if any other countries have the same issue? Apparently they're "working on it" over here. I only bought my Apple Watch because it now is capable of LTE on its own, only to find out I can't even use it. So disappointing... Music stops taking out an EarPod while connected to the watch Posted: 30 Jan 2018 12:29 AM PST Like when you take an AirPod and music immediately stops. Except they are earpods, and happens only when I'm connected to the watch. It doesn't happen when AW is on Plane Mode. Anyone knows how to disable it? [link] [comments]
Apple Watch to Monitor Heart Condition? Posted: 29 Jan 2018 03:37 PM PST I'm considering getting an Apple Watch for a loved one with atrial fibrillation. I've heard there is a program that can alert the user to an afib event before they may know it themselves, and it would also be a tool to encourage healthy activity/standing/steps. Does anyone have experience with using this for afib or for monitoring heart health? Is it the right tool for the job and easy enough for someone in their late 60's that isn't tech savvy? Thanks for any advice! [link] [comments]

Apple Watch Gen 1: Worth it in 2018? Posted: 29 Jan 2018 02:33 PM PST Hello guys! Glad that I have found your subreddit! I would to ask any users of the Apple watch if you think that it is worth purchasing the first of the second gen Apple Watch 42mm. I am a watch guy (I like watches and I wear one every day) and I would like to ask you your opinion on purchasing my first Apple watch. I saw ton of straps which look amazing and for decent prices. I also found out that certain watch straps can be used with the apple watch. Which one should I pick 1st gen or go all the way to the 2nd gen? The 3rd gen seems a bit pricey at the moment also kind of an overkill since I was not able to find any unique features that the series 3 has. Thanks a lot! [link] [comments]
Workout app freezing once again? Posted: 29 Jan 2018 04:39 PM PST Has anyone experience Workout app freezing in watchOS 4.2.2? I knew some were having the issue in previous versions. But most posts I've seen said the issue has been resolved. Today I've noticed that my workout app would be frozen on launch. And even if I do get to start my workout, the monitoring screen is froze. And I cannot end a session. [link] [comments]
