| Posted: 29 Jan 2018 09:19 PM PST My Apple TV 4K is acting up. Under the "Remotes and Devices" in the Settings menu the "Control TVs and Receivers" option keep switching On and Off. It happens non stop until I exit the menu. It also lags the whole interface and stops volume control from working on the Siri remote. If I restart the Apple TV the issue goes away temporarily. How do I stop this? I have it connected to my 2016 Sony X800D. I've already updated my Apple TV to the latest version tvOS 11.2.5 and that didn't seem to fix it. I suspect this is a HDMI-CEC issue? Anyone who can provide some insight, it would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments]  | ||

I haven't missed many things about traditional cable but sports has always been my biggest hangup, specifically the super bowl this weekend. I won't be able to get to the game until the 2nd quarter or so and want to start from the beginning - on my Tivo i would just start the recording and fast forward until i get caught up (skip commercials, etc) and was usually caught up by halftime or so. I tested Channels and SNL, no dice. Any suggestions? [link] [comments]  |
