    Hi all. I'm really freaked out. I was just watching Netflix in full screen mode when the video suddenly froze, and the sound was skipping quite a lot. Everything was completely unresponsive, I couldn't move the cursor, pressing esc did nothing, and then it just turned off with no warning. I pressed the power button and it seemed like it was starting up normally, but I got the prohibition symbol instead of the apple symbol, then blackness, but the trackpad was still making that clicky-feeling it does when he computer is on and you press it. Tried unplugging it (up until this point it was plugged in the whole time, but on 100%), powering it off, then on again, and got nothing on the screen and no lights, but still the clicks. Then I tried safe mode and still got nothing but the trackpad clicks. I really really can't afford to take it to get fixed, and I need it as I'm studying online. If it helps, I installed the latest update yesterday and haven't turned it off myself since then. Please help! Thanks

    When can we expect an announcement for the 2018 MB Pro's?

    I am currently gearing up to upgrade my 13 inch (Mid 2012) MB Pro, but i'm holding out for any major announcements from Apple - when can we expect a release date for the new MB models? Are they expected to be any different from what we can already purchase?

    Transfer settings old macbook to new macbook.

    So i got a new macbook but some settings I cant change like when i open a link in Bittorrent it always asks me to make it my default move when i click a magnet link. everytime i click yes but somehow every time i get the same question, but on my old one it did it without problems.

    can I just carry over my old settings.

    Two-Finger Zoom Gesture Becomes Unfunctional Frequently

    My setup is a MacBook Pro 13 Early 2015, and it has been a while that the two-finger zoom gesture of the trackpad becomes unfunctional frequently. It's strange that toggling the "zoom in and out" option on and off for several times will temporally fix the problem, but after some time of use it will reappear for whatever reason. I just can't think about any reason this happens. Any suggestions? Thx in advance!

    MacBook making sound on shaking

    My MacBook Pro 15inch 2017 when slightly shaken makes noise as if something is loose inside. Anyone else has same issue? Is it something to be worried about?

    hey bought a macbook and need some help

    i decided to buy a macbook and now i need some help. 1. like every normal human i have my pictures organised in folders and store them in a place where i can find them. But if i drag them into library/user/pictures they don't show up in Apple Photos.
    Can you recommend an app that just uses the files and folders from a certain dictionary ? the same goes for my music. 2. i like the Pages app and want to use it with iCloud. but i can just sync my pages documents when i also sync my desktop?
