- Trying to sign back in to my ITunes to activate iMessage since I reset the phone and it logged me out of everything. Everytime I put in my password and stuff to activate iMessage I press sign in and it just grays out and doesn't do anything afterwards what should I do

It's incredibly heated up and my battery has dropped from 70% to 40% within 30 minutes, while I'm only using Messenger app. I stopped using even that, and the battery keeps draining the same way. | Newbie needs basic advice on buying used iphone. Posted: 26 Jan 2018 02:07 PM PST Hi, I may be the only person left in the world who does not have a smart phone - so forgive my basic questions. I can't afford a new Iphone and when I look on Ebay, the options are overwhelming. I mainly want to use Uber , maps, texts, limited web surfing (no games, no video). Can you give me basic advice of where to start? I want low cost, decent battery, unlocked, works with ATT and OS 5 or above. There are so many versions I don't know why one is better than the other. | iPhone X stops vibrating and freezes and has to reset Posted: 26 Jan 2018 01:28 PM PST Sometimes my almost 3 month iPhone X stops vibrating, I have to "force" the vibration again by putting it in silence, sound, silence again until it regains vibration. Another issue I have is that sometimes I'm playing a game and the phone completely freezes and doesn't go to home screen, doesn't block, nothing.. just stays there like 1 minute and then resumes. | iPhone backup help needed (photo/video) Posted: 26 Jan 2018 08:36 AM PST Okay so I promise I've done a decent amount of research in trying to figure this out. I'm assuming other people have been in a similar situation, I just can't find the answer. I just recently upgraded from an iPhone 6 to an 8. I backed up my 6 to my computer (not to iCloud) right before I made the switch. I wiped my 6 after the backup. I don't want to restore my 8 to the 6 completely. I just want to pull some photos and videos that were on my 6 and put them onto the new phone. It would make sense that since I backed my phone up to my computer (2015 MacBook Pro running most up to date OS) that there's a file somewhere that contains the old photo/video. I just have no idea where it is or how to get to it. If there's already a thread on this I apologize, if you could link it to me I'll delete the post. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 26 Jan 2018 06:41 AM PST I have a set of Bose Soundsport headphones (which includes a mic) from before the upgrade and the lightning adapter works for use of the headphones, but not the microphone. It's charging normally and then i would unplug it for a couple minutes and then when i plug it back in it won't charge unless i restart it. I am using the box charger and cable and i know it's not the plug or the cables it's most likely a ios issue because as soon as the phone is off it starts on again like when it's plugged. | Iphone 6 64gb - touch screen will not respond Posted: 26 Jan 2018 04:10 AM PST My daughter got her Dads iphone 6 -64gb of all of his music on it after he passed away last year so this is more than a phone glitch. She is a bit heartbroken/afraid we won't be able to fix it. Before giving up the ghost - a phrase I've used as a techie for years but never thought what a bad unintentional pun when saying it in this case it would bring tears. With the phone- No water has encountered it & screen protector was removed & I cleaned the screen with alcohol swab as some screen glitches are sticky stuff on touchpad. It has been in an otter box case it's whole life. We did no less than 10 resets last night while she was upset. The home button works to unlock but when the pin pad comes up there is no response regardless of what we have tried thus far. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I scoped prices an what I can afford to replace it with has hardly no storage space & will be whatever is offered. I literally moved our entire wireless service over to one where she could bring this phone. Sighs... Wishing I knew more about Apple right now. I'm on the other platform.
