Iphone connecting to only one specific wifi Posted: 30 Nov 2017 08:52 PM PST Ok guys, so i have 2 wifis at home. Yesterday,i was trying to connect to my friends wifi who lives across me but it was not connecting inspite of typing the correct password. So, then i connected to my home wifi and then i tried to renew lease(i dont know why i did this), it got connected. But then the problem arised, now my iphone only connects that specific wifi and not even the other wifi at home, it simply refuses to connect to any other wifi. What may be the problem? Posted: 30 Nov 2017 06:05 PM PST Ever since iOS 11 my front camera has been very poor in quality and I factory reset it like Apple told me and it didn't work. Then sometimes when I charge it it vibrates and when I touch metal with the phone in my hand the metal has a small current through it from the phone and my charger port is slightly messed up as it doesn't always register charger is in it . Would they cover them for free or replace it ? Also I don't have Apple care so would i have to pay ? One more thing my screen is really cracked so would they make me pay for my screen before replacing it . [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Nov 2017 01:47 PM PST The circle is greyed out when I swipe up and in the settings app I am unable to switch it to "on". Sometimes the settings app wont even load/open, when I click it only a white screen appears. I already did the basic resetting and updating but nothing helped. Any suggestions? [link] [comments] |
Weather App and Weather Widget confused about location Posted: 30 Nov 2017 09:30 AM PST The Weather Widget on the lock screen seems to think I'm in Santa Rosa, CA (I was two days ago), but the Weather App thinks I'm in Loveland, CO (I am). I noticed when I landed back in Denver two days ago, that neither the widget nor the app would update to show Denver weather, they were stuck on Santa Rosa. I'm on iOS 11.1.2. Location Services are enabled for Weather as Always On. WiFi is on. LTE cellular data is enabled. I'm guessing a reboot will fix this, but shouldn't this update automagically (it used to) or am I missing something? Edit: Was happening on two different iPhones (work and personal), but changed to focus on just one. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Nov 2017 09:14 AM PST Yesterday I noticed all my messages, contacts, and photos had been deleted and my phone updated. Sometimes I could open the pictures on my phone and there'd be nothing there, then they'd slowly restore over the next couple hours. I was hoping that would happen but it hasn't. When I go to my storage settings, it still says I have 3 gigs in photos and 2 gigs in messages. So I'm hopeful. Are they still there? My phone has had 0 available storage for a long time, so my issues might stem from there. [link] [comments] |
Siri is picking up random sound IPhone 6 Posted: 30 Nov 2017 03:26 AM PST When I open Siri the sound bar waves as if it's picking up sound even when the room is silent, and it doesn't respond to any sound I make. I tested all my mics (frond video, back video, and main mic with voice recording app), they all work. [link] [comments] |
