Here's a general fix for most of the problems Houdini can cause Posted: 07 Dec 2017 11:17 AM PST I was unsure of which tag to use, so you're gonna have to deal with the ones I've picked. Now I've got an issue with my SE and the iPhone 8 resolution option you can pick via Houdini. My phone went bonkers and didn't look very well, luckily I could still acces my settings. All you have to do is reset your settings: general -> reset -> reset everything (or something like that). You'll be pleasently suprised of how fast your phone is, without data being lost! Flaws? You're gonna have to go through every WiFi-password again, but I think you can live with that. [Question] Futureproofing options for currently jb'd devices Posted: 07 Dec 2017 11:01 PM PST There's a lot of posts floating around about potential jb's coming up and i'm looking to best futureproof myself. I currently have an iphone 6 jb'd on 10.2, and an ipad mini 2 jb'd on 10.2 as well. I have blobs saved for up 10.3.1 for both devices. Can I still get blobs for firmwares >10.3.1 or has that window closed? Also, should I be saving blobs now for whatever versions of 11.x that I can? [Discussion] Indiegogo for future jailbreaks Posted: 08 Dec 2017 12:34 AM PST Long time lurker here. And the issue with jailbreaking now seems to be apple pays for bugs and also the toxicity of the community when a jailbreak starts development. To combat this are we able to have a trusted member of the community like saurik or someone of that nature set up a indiegogo for future development of a functioning jailbreak as some sort incentive to security researchers to release even though it is obviously much easier for them to just go through apples bug hunter program. This way the developer can show who ever maintains the indiegogo page the progress they've made and possibly give a public or private timeline for release. Either that or can we just release a commercial jailbreak somewhere in the range of like $5-$100.
