| Help an Android user transfer a video from his wife's iPhone 8 to his Windows computer Posted: 29 Oct 2017 04:13 PM PDT Hey All, Former iPhone user here. I'm just trying to transfer one video from my wife's iPhone 8 to my Windows computer. The video was shot a couple of weeks ago. When I connect the phone to my computer and navigate to the DCIM folder, there are multiple folders within it. Within each folder there are a random selection of photos and videos. Since the files are spread out among different folders, it makes it difficult to browse the pics/videos to find the one I want. If I connect via iTunes, the only option it gives me is to "sync" the photos and there are too many and I don't want to sync all the photos/videos on my computer. This seems like a simple request; I just need to find one video and copy it. Is there a way to browse all the videos/pics on the phone in one place? Thanks! [link] [comments]  |
| I can't buy anything from itunes Posted: 29 Oct 2017 09:52 AM PDT Everything was working well a week ago but yesterday i tried to buy a song and it suddenly rejecting my debit card cvv number now. i consulted both apple help center and also my bank. They said my card is fine and should work. i don't know what the solution is. i also tried few methods like removing all card details and putting it back. i also have no unpaid bills so thats also not the issue here. | Ends of songs keep repeating on iPhone 6S Posted: 29 Oct 2017 01:23 PM PDT Whenever I play a song in my music it plays as normal, then as the song would end and go into the next in queue, it jumps back 10-15 seconds and plays the last bit again. It doesn't actually skip backward - the music app says the song is over (-0:00 left) but will continue. I can skip or change songs during this time but it's really annoying because it messes up consecutive tracks. I can't find anything online - any help would be appreciated ! | Shared Amazon Music song link opens the app store, not the Amazon Music app! Posted: 29 Oct 2017 11:09 AM PDT Hello! This is an issue that is occurring for my mother. Background: My family use the Amazon Music Unlimited service, specifically, we use it on iPhones (2 iPhone 6s Plus's and 1 iPhone 8). My mother had a 6s Plus and then purchased an iPhone 8. The issue happens only for her and on BOTH iPhones. Interestingly, I inherited her iPhone 6s Plus, factory reset it, and made it my own and the issue does not happen for me. The issue: Within the Amazon Music app, find a song and click on the menu button next to it (three white dots), then click the "Share song" option. This will open up your text message app and will paste in the song link. The person who receives this link will of course need to have the Amazon Music app installed. If they do, they simply click on the link in messenger and the Amazon Music app will open and start playing the shared song. However, on my mother's previous iPhone 6s Plus (now my iPhone) and her brand new iPhone 8, whenever she clicks on these links, it opens up the App Store and then makes her click the "Open" button that shows up within the App store when you already have the required app installed. While this process DOES work and will play the shared song, it is an annoying extra step and it simply should NOT work that way. In fact, my wife, myself, and other members of the family don't have this issue. I believe that this has something to do with the links, perhaps a setting. I even think that it might have something to do with Safari somehow (like somehow my mother made the links open by default in Safari which, in turn, opens the App Store since it is an app link). We've tried to flush cache/history in Safari, that did not work. Also, if my mother long presses on the shared song within Messenger, normally a box with the link will come up and you will have the "Copy" or "More..." options. This does not happen and, in fact, a box will pop up with what appears to be the Amazon Music splash screen only to disappear and then it will forward her to the App Store (it will ask "Do you want to open in the App Store" or "Cancel"). We have also: -Uninstalled and reinstalled the app -Checked any settings for the Amazon Music app and the Safari app -Had her click on the actual link text within e-mail (I mailed the link text to her); same result. Any help is much appreciated. It is strange that this is happening on both of her phones, however, seems to reason that perhaps the setting that is causing this problem was transferred over to her new phone once she linked her Apple ID/account? | Posted: 29 Oct 2017 10:36 AM PDT I never had an issue until my phone updated to ios11.0.3 and now every day my people album resets and adds the people I removed. I've even selected all the photos and hit "Not this person" and the next day they're all back in the album. Removing them does nothing because it just resets. Is there any way to hide that album or make sure it doesn't add people? It's annoying they give the option to remove just to reset it a day later. [link] [comments]  |
| Iphone won't Stream to Roku anymore Posted: 29 Oct 2017 07:18 AM PDT I have an Iphone 6 running 11.0.3. I use to be able to watch a video, usually YouTube, and stream it to my television which uses a Roku. Now when I attempt to do that (since before the iOS 11 update)- it doesn't recognize the Roku. It only says Apple TV - which I don't have. Is this technology called Airplay or Screen Mirroring? Any help would be appreciated. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 29 Oct 2017 04:44 AM PDT My girlfriend and I have just moved to South Korea and she is wanting to get a new phone service while keeping her current phone. The telecom company here in Korea told us she might need to unlock her SIM and that's what we've been trying to do. She has AT&T service and we've been told to unlock the SIM we need to input a PUK code into her phone and that's it. Unfortunately, we can't figure out how to do that. We have tried Googling the issue, but to no avail. We have tried restarting the phone and inputting her PIN incorrectly, but that just locks her out. We have the PUK code but have no clue how to input it into the phone. We can't really try calling the AT&T support number because the account is in her dad's name and he has been less than helpful.
