    Hey everyone, is it possible to connect a SanDisk external hard drive to my iPad and access/transfer files like movies and series from my hard drive to my iPad? Does the new files app support such features ?

    I'm looking for an app that teaches typing. My 11 year old is brutal behind the keyboard and needs something to help him practice. I have a Bluetooth keyboard. He has an iPad mini 4.

    Immense trouble finding an off-brand smart cover for 12.9 iPad Pro.

    Hey all—recently purchased an iPad Pro, 12.9 inch model. It's consumed my life with it's beauty and usefulness, but I'm currently carrying it around naked, in a laptop slip case. This makes me a very Nervous Nellie every time I have to get it out to actually USE it. (I love the slip case, though. More on that later.) I've purchased a back shell for it, and now I need to get an individual smart cover—I'd prefer something very close to the Saddle Brown leather cover Apple sells, but I don't have $80 to throw at the cover. I can't seem to find ANYTHING off-brand that's made for the 12.9. They're all attached dual back/front cases. Am I missing a website? Are there even smart covers to be found? Have I simply just purchased the world's least popular iPad and nothing is made for it? Help!

    I /adore/ this slip case. The Targus product photos don't show it, but the one I bought at Best Buy includes a tiny elastic loop just under the velcro flap that holds the Pencil securely in place despite shaking and being tossed into a backpack every day; hasn't budged once. It's got enough room for the iPad to still go in with a case one, stiff enough to protect the iPad from bending, super lightweight, and fleece on the inside...it's a dream. Could not recommend enough.

    I was tasked in repairing my friends iPad. This is something of which I have never seen on any of my previous diagnosis's.

    1. As soon as the iPad is plugged to a pc or mac, you get the white screen with black apple logo.

    2. Error 9 on the restore

    3. DFU mode is not recognized through redsn0w

    First Time iPad Purchase

    I'm looking to buy an iPad for the first time. It's mostly for games, email reading, websites, etc. I'm looking for it to basically be a larger version of my cell phone. Any suggestions as to what to purchase in the most economically friendly fashion would be helpful!

    Open multiple Excel workbooks at same time?

    Trying to see if I can do most of my work on an iPad Pro instead of my pc. When using the iOS Excel app, I cant figure out how to open multiple workbooks at the same time. Does anybody know how to do this (or if it can be done)?

    Looking for video looping app that starts the video on touch

    Hi,

    Im doing a project where I want to have a small video run upon touching anywhere on the screen. After the video is done it should go back to start and wait for the next touch.

    Loopideo was close but I have to hit the play button, I wish to start the video by just touching the screen.

    How to transfer a file from iPad to a USB stick?

    Let's say you have a file, a PDF or whatever, on your iPad and you want to transfer it to a USB stick. How would you do it without using a PC or Mac? i.e., Are there any accessories/cables/etc. that let you do this?

    iPad friendly website creation recommendation?

    Any recommendations for website creation - something along the lines of Squarespace, that supports iPAD?

    Squarespace has great design and some very powerful tools but it's very buggy with iPad - cannot really select themes, some page types cannot be edited etc. Spoke with squarespace support and turns out they don't support mobile devices. Pity, as in my view, my iPad 10.5 with a keyboard is pretty much the perfect tool for the job.

    Any recommendations appreciated, thanks!

    How to remove the closed apps in Apple Smart Keyboard’s Command+TAB

    Before the iOS11 update, apps you shut down would not appear in the list when you use command + tab but now all of the previously opened app would be in there even though you shut them down and it has decreased my flow and productivity big time

    This is getting really retarded and unintuitive.

    And also, at the bottom of the dock, the apps would still be there when i force them to quit with by tapping the home button twice.

    What is this monstrosity?

    11.0.3 updates fails on iPad Air 1

    It downloads, verifies, installs on black screen w/apple logo, reboots and is back to 11.0.2 showing a need to "Download and install" 11.0.3. Weird.

    Fully charged, near the router with strong WiFi, and a reboot didn't change anything. I'm stumped.

    ***UPDATE: After attempt #7, the 11.0.3 update finally installed.

    iPad (2017) has uneven white backlighting

    My iPad I received has a uneven white screen. The bottom of the screen is a bit cooler with a blueish tint at the bottom of the screen. The top right of the screen is a bit warmer slight red tint on it.

    Basically top left corner and bottom two corners have a normal bluish tint except for the top right corner, which is sort of red. This makes whites look uneven and its pretty bothersome. It's not as noticeable at first glance but the more I look at white backgrounds on the screen I start to notice it. I don't know if its bad enough for me to bring it back.

    Is this a common among issue among iPads? Do i have to play the product lottery and hope I get a luck of the draw? Is it worth bringing it back?

    YouTube isn’t marking videos as watched

    The YouTube app on my iPad mini 2 hasn't been marking videos as watched for a couple of weeks now. I've double checked that watch history isn't paused and I've cleared my watch history. When I watch videos on my phone or laptop it does mark them as watched. Is anyone else having this problem and how can I fix it?

    iPad Pro 10.5 won‘t update to iOS 11

    I bought my iPad Pro 10.5 today and tried to update it over the air from 10.3.3 to ios 11.0.3. It download ios 11 and when I want to install it the apple logo shows for a few seconds and then it shows me that ios 10.3.3 was installed. But not ios 11. I tried it 4 times, then I reset all settings but after all it won't install ios 11...

    What can I do? :/
