    Hi - iPhone SE (2016) iOS 13.5.1

    I have two different photos for "wallpaper" - one for my lock screen, one "in" my phone behind my apps. (Quotes because I realize I may be using the wrong words here.)

    I want to change only my inside background photo - not my lock screen. I clearly did this before (since home lock screen and in-phone background images are different) but I don't rmemeber how. When I select the photo I want, click the arrow (which opens options to send the photo via text, email, etc.), it gives me the option to change wallpaper, but shows me how it will look on my locked phone home screen. How do I change only the internal wallpaper?

    Dictation recognition delay

    Hi!

    My iPhone 8 (iOS 15.3.1) has a strange problem with dictation and Siri. Both don't understand me because the first one to two seconds it doesn't recognise my voice. After that one to two seconds it works as expected. If I wait shortly before talking this starts from the beginning of talking. I have to say something like „one" followed by the text I want to have that it is recognised correctly.

    Voice Memos work without that problem. Also video with the rear camera. But same problem with video on front camera. So it's only the top / front microphone that's affected by this problem.

    I did in the meantime two full factory resets of my iPhone with clean install (not from backup) but that didn't help.

    Any ideas to solve the problem?

    I have an iPhone 4/4S (not sure which because I can't remember nor can find indication on the device, I'm very sorry) which I'm locked out of. To unlock the phone it gives me a keyboard rather than a number board, so I'm assuming that means it's a word rather than a code, but looking up info about the phone makes it sound like I should be prompted to input a 4 or 6 digit code, not a word. Did these devices actually take a password rather than a passcode, or am I misinterpreting what's being asked by my phone? And if it is a code, how many digits does the code use (4 or 6)? I'm running out of guesses, so I really want to understand before I proceed.

    iPhone alarm doesn’t show up/sound!!!

    I rely on my iPhone SE (bought last year) as an alarm clock. Recently I realized sometimes it does not sound at all even though ringer is always set to max. I have DND on and it never was a problem, the alarm always rang until now

    So here's the issue: I set alarms every 15 min from 9-10am to get up for my uni classes at 11am. However during the past couple of weeks, it doesn't sound at all. I had to buy another alarm clock but since I'm a heavy sleeper I sleep through it sometimes (I sleep by my phone and rely on the vibrations to wake me up). When I wake without the alarm it's usually right when class starts (and I have to miss it because 10 min past class time counts as absence and transportation takes 20 min). My lockscreen is dimmed that says "good morning" but there is no button or notifications at all.

    I have rebooted my phone, removed DND, made sure volume is up, but it's still a problem. Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you.

    I have iphone 8+. Its too big for my hands. Is there a way i don’t need to press blue half arrow for sending message? Is there some way to send from keyboard. Because return in the keyboard don’t send texts.

    Should I protect my iPhone 11 somehow, now that glass is falling out of my cracked camera lens?

    I dropped my iPhone 11 and now my wide view camera lens is fully cracked, at first it was ok but now it has caved inwards a bit and today a glass piece fell out. It's 480€ to repair, which I'm obviously not going to do. My iPhone is still working perfectly fine but I'm afraid moisture/dust/glass will get through the glass and damage my iPhone further. Should (and if yes, how) I protect it somehow with, for example, scotch tape or something?

    This wasn't a problem until recently for me, as all notifications from an app (e.g. Instagram) would go away when I opened it. Now they all stay in the notification center, even messages from the same chat that I regularly open and it's really annoying. How do I get them to disappear? I'm on iPhone 11 running iOS 15.3.1

    Repeatedly getting liquid in lighting connector warning

    Recently I have gotten the warning for "liquid detected in lightning container" multiple times despite my phone being completely dry. It has not been in the shower, near any bodies of open water, anything. Has anyone dealt with this before? Can I fix it or do I need to replace the phone?

    Locked notes disappear when accessing shared link

    I'm moving and after trying a few home inventory apps and not being happy with any of them, I decided to use Notes to hack it on my own. I want to use QR codes on the boxes to open the shared link to that particular Notes folder which contains a list of the items in that box.

    I did a test with this setup to confirm it works the way I want it to. I made a folder called Box 001, and then made a new note in that folder and call it something like Pocket Knife. I took a picture of the item in the note and go back to the box folder and get a shared link. I pasted it into a QR code generator and scanned it with my phone, and as expected it opened my Notes app to that folder, showing me the notes in that folder, AKA what's in the box.

    The problem is any notes that are locked will disappear when I scan the QR code. I did a test with a locked and unlocked note in my Box 001 folder and only locked notes disappear when I do this. The notes do not appear in Recently Deleted; they're simply gone.

    It's not the end of the world, since the boxes will be in my possession and there's nothing secretive, I just wanted an extra layer of security just in case, but I can live without it; it just seems strange to me that it would behave like this. Is this a bug? Anything I can do to get it work as expected?

    Update: so apparently the reason they don't show up in recently deleted is because they're not deleted, they appear to be removed from the folder. When I go to all iCloud notes they appear there.

    So the question has become why does scanning a QR code to the shared link cause locked notes to be moved from the folder they're in to the main iCloud notes folder?

    iPhone 12 says backup will be 6gb yet everything unchecked

    My wife's iPhone 12 is messed up from an iCloud backup standpoint. Her backups were always several gbs despite having many things unchecked. She basically has the same things checked as I do on my 13 pro yet my backup was less than 1gb. So I deleted her backup and planned to restart the iCloud backup process.

    Now it tells me that her backup is 6.9 gb. Again, everything is unchecked. Except notes since it said it would delete everything if I unchecked it. Any idea what's going on?

    NEED HELP deciding what iphone to buy

    I have two options available for purchasing a used IPhone tomorrow, but im not sure about which one to get. One is a IPhone 11 ($450), and the other is a IPhone 11 Pro Max ($500). I am aware of the features of both, after watching countless videos for the past couple days, however:

    After asking about the battery health on each, the IPhone 11 has 96% capacity left, while the IPhone 11 pro max has 88%. I know battery is a big deal, and not sure if its worth going for the pro or not, considering its battery health. Would appreciate opinions about this, thank you.

    Looking for a device to connect an iPhone to a portable radio. Like the car adapters but portable. Cant find any that doest plug into the pwr adapter in a car or a stereo output on the older phones. This is a iPhone 11.

    Transfer of data between iPhones

    So I got a new iPhone (13) and I was transferring data over, but got stuck on 4 minutes remaining and none of the apps were downloading. I then did a task where I signed in to Apple ID again and then the apps went through and my new phone had them but I had to tap them to start the download. On my old phone it still said 4 minutes remaining and nothing changed until it ran out of battery, when it came back on it was also a normal phone again. Has the data all gone through and it's just a glitch or do I need to reset this iPhone and do the data transfer again?

    My Face ID sucks :(

    He doesn't recognize me in routine situations. I can't be smiling or with a spoon in my mouth because detection fails. I must -really- be staring at my cell phone and expressionless and this is embarrassing. I really have to stop laughing or talking to unlock my iPhone.

    I had to set up an alternate look with myself while I have a spoon in my mouth so I can unlock my phone while eating my breakfast cereal.

    Is this a common thing or is it a glitch on my iPhone? It's an iPhone X.

    Hey guys Sunday I got a brand new iPhone 13 and it worked perfectly out of the box until yesterday. Yesterday the screen became fuzzy/blurry and I restarted it and it fixed the issue for a while until it became fuzzy/blurry again and now restarting it doesn't work either. I showed it to someone else and they noticed it too, so I'm not seeing things lmao. Here is a picture of it taken with another phone
