Posted: 13 Mar 2022 04:06 AM PDT For The Walking Dead, Up Next is trying to push Prime Video, which has seasons 1-10, rather than Disney+ which has all seasons and is releasing new episodes week-by-week. | Siri "Find my iPhone" no longer works Posted: 12 Mar 2022 11:04 PM PST The most useful feature I've found of my AppleTV 4k 2nd gen is the ability to find my phone with it by asking Siri "find my iPhone" For a few months now this hasn't worked and I get the error message "Sorry, I can't help find your devices right now. You can check the location of all of your devices at iCoud.com or in the Find My app" Today I tried factory resetting the AppleTV, signing out of iCloud on my iPhone, removing the AppleTV from the list of devices but none of this has solved my problem. The AppleTV no longer shows in my Find My app, but it was listed under my devices settings in my iCloud settings. I tried contacting Apple support and they just told me to take the AppleTV, remote, and iPhone into the Apple store. Has anyone had this issue before? | Posted: 12 Mar 2022 07:06 AM PST I've got a 64 GB Apple TV 4th generation, all 50+ apps had been running smoothly, but I noticed I was having issues downloading new apps (would stay stuck on installing, no full notifications). So I decided to do a factory reset, however it reset pretty much full!? I tried a factory reset mirroring my home screen downloading previous apps as well as a net new home screen. Both showed up 98% full. I confirmed via the "TV info" app, as well as through getting the 'storage full' notification after downloading a couple larger apps. What's going on? | Watch YouTube/Google Play movies in 4K? Posted: 12 Mar 2022 11:28 AM PST I've recently made the switch to Apple TV and holy crap I didn't know what I was missing! It's amazing! I now have AppleTV 4K devices attached to every TV in the house. But - I also have a few thousand dollars worth of movies in Google Play... I don't want to rebuy them.... I can access the movies via the youtube app but they play in HD not UHD...... is there a way to play them in UHD? I mean worst case scenario I can play them using my Chrome but I'd like to just use ATV. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 12 Mar 2022 04:49 AM PST I have tried 2 different HDMI cables — one of them is the Belkin 4K HDMI cable sold at Apple, and the other is the stock PS5 4K HDMI cable. I also brought the Apple TV and Siri remote to Apple and had them replaced under warranty, but the issue persists. The only conclusion I can come up with is that eARC switches the HomePods into a "bluetooth audio mode" and is congesting the bluetooth frequencies required for the remote to function correctly. As soon as eARC is disabled the Siri remote works flawlessly. What could be causing this interference? [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 12 Mar 2022 12:35 PM PST Not sure if this is something I should take it back for replacement for or what. Whether I shuffle my songs or use a playlist or whatever, at some point the music will stop playing but the lyrics will continue to scroll like it's working fine, until it hits the end of the song and just hangs there indefinitely. I either have to skip to the next track or rewind to get sound again. Sometimes this can take an hour to happen, sometimes it's every 3rd song. It's not really consistent. Just wondering if this a problem unique to me or if others have this issue, before deciding to get an exchange or wait to see if it's a bug they iron out. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 12 Mar 2022 08:47 AM PST Been having a weird issue ever since I swapped internet providers. I have AT&T now with a Humax BGW320-500 gateway and router. The issue I have is the Apple apps all take forever to load or they time out. Usually have to restart the Apple TV. However other apps have no issues. Disney, Hulu, Netflix etc all work just fine. I had no issue with this with my old router and isp. Anyone ever ran into this and know of a fix? [link] [comments] | ||

When I bought an Apple TV, I noticed a delay in audio + lips. Did some research, disabled HDR, switched it to 4K SDR. Problem solved. Except with the Apple TV + app. I feel there is a slight delay with Apple TV + and I even notice the "HDR" symbol pop up in the top right corner showing it is engaged (I don't have this in other apps like Hulu, Netflix, HBO max). Frame rate and such is all matched. Is there anyway to truly disable HDR? [link] [comments] | ||
