| Solution found Airdrop ios 15.4 Posted: 16 Mar 2022 07:32 AM PDT Wanted to share this. Tried all available internet solutions. Airdrop on my iPhone 13 mini, IOS 15.4 still did NOT work. I could send but not receive. My phone did not show up in another iPhone but my phone did display their name. Solution after hours of testing: Turn off Mobile Data (in Mobile Network) and boom. When I receive an iMessage from wife, it sends a notification (sound, banner, etc.) even if I have Focus turned on - "Share across devices" is enabled for my iPad, iPhone and Mac Time sensitive is enabled on the Focus profile on all devices Allow Time Sensitive Alerts is disabled in Notifications > Messages The only mode that works is Do Not Disturb. Built in or user created Focus modes do not block the wife notification. Any ideas??? Did Apple make it impossible to mute the wife??? (Well, I could set "Hide Alerts" for the conversation in iMessage but if I forget to turn it back off I get in trouble)... [link] [comments] | ||

| Syncing or Connecting Safari with Google? Posted: 16 Mar 2022 10:40 AM PDT Have to say I really really like iOS because it's polished. I like using Safari on my iPhone because it works very well. I like the native mail app which I use my personal gmail account and business address. I'm on my iPhone doing a lot with business related stuff but on my Windows desktop about 20% of the time because there's stuff that can't be done on the iPhone. I use Chrome on my desktop for my business because of some important extensions I need and other stuff. I tried using Chrome but I don't like it. I much prefer the native safari browser. Since I love Apple stuff on my mobile device is there a way to 'connect' let's my safari stuff like bookmarks and history to Chrome so when I'm ready to get on my desktop the mobile safari stuff is synced. | Posted: 16 Mar 2022 12:56 PM PDT I got an iPhone 12 yesterday and had AT&T move over the sim I had in the 8 to it. However after using it for a day it shut down my capability to send iMessages and now tells me I have a primary and secondary line? And I had to add my email to my Apple ID so now all my iMessages are going through that?? I just want them to go through my number and not have to worry about switching lines or whatever to make calls and stuff. Apple News only allows certain content offline even with subscription and BBC News doesn't work offline at all. Are there any good individual apps or news aggregators that work offline? Posted: 16 Mar 2022 12:12 PM PDT I'm looking for a app to see multiple calendar but not the standard way where is either overlapping or side-by-side and no I don't want to every single time to unselect and reselect every single one calendar (five, almost full everyday, to be exact) neither I want to have one app for exact (it would come up to a total of 8) What I was thinking is to have a system like page/tab for each of the calendars so I could see one at the time and still have fast access to switch between. On-call rotation is managed with OpsGenie, and I have an ics subscription active in my calendars. My phone is configured to go to DND mode outside of working hours, but for events in the on-call calendar I want it to switch to a "On-Call" focus mode, that specifically allows notifications at any time. Is it somehow possible to automate this with iOS tools? The OpsGenie iOS won't even let me log in for some weird reason, so no hope of automation from that. If there's a third-party app that can help me with this and only require at most a one-time payment, that would also be a option. Any ideas? :) [link] [comments] | ||
| Notification badges on Home Screen incorrect Posted: 16 Mar 2022 05:50 AM PDT So since I updated to iOS 15.4, my phone has a mind of its own for how many notifications I have in each app. Like over my mail icon it'll have a badge saying there's 3 new emails when there's actually 8, Snapchat always shows 2 new notifications regardless and my texts never show any badges at all. | Social profile in Contacts app Posted: 16 Mar 2022 01:38 AM PDT Every contact have social profile fields in a Contact app and if I click on a Signal or Twitter social profile I get automatically redirected to those apps or a website in Twitter case since I don't have an app installed. If try to do the same for Facebook, Telegram or WhatsApp social profiles it doesn't work. Is that just me or is it a bug? Is there a specific way to set those up? [link] [comments] | ||
