    So I woke up, check my phone, went to the bathroom (didn't bring the phone with me), and it's off by the time i got back.

    I don't know what happened, it's the most random thing ever happened to me with a phone. It's just wont turn on at all, I only tried force restart so far but idk what else to try.

    For a little context, it's turned on and off a couple of times weeks ago, but went fine for the time remain until now. This time it's different, it's been a couple hours and nothing.

    Any idea on what's wrong and what i can try?

    IOS 15.3 update issue

    Updated iPhone 10xs to iOS 15.3. Can't update my apps. It brings up a sign in to iCloud box. I input my password & it replies that the password is incorrect. But, I know it's correct. Any advice?

    Browser sessions on iCloud

    Is there any option to backup sessions from Chrome or Firefox to iCloud on the iPhone so that tabs can be reopened if lost via a reset, or only from Safari?

    Hi So I've got myself another iPhone with a new Apple ID. I was hoping to make a switch to it as my current Apple ID was one of the leaked ones and unfortunately most of my passwords etc were part of the data breach. I've paid for iCloud etc and was able to move most of the stuff like contacts, apps. However with the photos, I'm having bit of trouble. If I share through airdrop, my iPhone hangs as I've got around 8000+ photos/videos. I tried going in a section of 200-400 at once but all the photos came off jumbled and were not organised in right way. I got google photos and had everything uploaded to it so basically all my photos are there but it won't sync back the photos to the new iPhone.

    Has anyone done something like this? Or can anyone guide me how can I setup this new Apple ID with the same content as before.

    Slight tingling sensation whilst using MagSafe accessories?

    To be clear, I'm not some sort of conspiracy nut, just to get that out of the way, haha. I recently started using MagSafe chargers with my iPhone 13 Pro Max and AirPods Pro. Whenever I hold the phone with the charger on the back, it gives an admittedly pretty small constant tingling sensation, not unlike that which you'd get from static electricity. It also happens when I'm holding my AirPods for the first few seconds after picking them up off the charger.

    Any reasonable explanation for this? Excess electrons floating about or something? I dunno. I doubt it poses any notable risk but it piqued my interest.

    iPhone 12 or 13?

    I'm currently owning an iPhone Xs and thinking of an upgrade to a regular 12 or 13. There are some deals going on at the moment where I can save over a hundred bucks by grabbing iPhone 12. I do like the 12's green colour and weight. However, I've seen a decent amount of complaints and concerns regarding 12's battery life/performance.

    Was wondering if some of you could share your experience with these devices and help me to decide whether I should/shouldn't overpay for the latest model. (planning on keeping my new phone with me for 3+ years)

    p.s my average screen on time is around 5 hours (social media, simple apps etc.)

    iphone 13 that i got in october that i sent all my data from my iphone 7 to. its been like this the whole time but i couldnt really be bothered to do much but now i turn to reddit. basically can i reduce the amount of storage taken up by 'other' ?

    I am going on a trip for 2 weeks and will have little or no service. I would like to set up an auto reply for anyone who tries to text me. As part of my job, I receive frequent texts to set up meeting so I would like to let them know who to contact while I am gone. I thought about using the Car function for Do Not Disturb but my phone will be in airplane mode during my trip. Also, as part of my job, I often receive texts from people not in my contact list and the Do Not Disturb function does not cover that. Is there another way to set up an auto reply? Also not sure if this is the right sub or not. Please let me know. Thanks!

    What are you supposed to do when you find someone's iphone and want to return it?

    Hi, many months ago I had found an iphone at the park. It was switched on and functioning but locked. I posted about in my city's reddit page but it's owner never replied. I took it to Tmobile in the hopes they'd somehow find its owner. Back then due to the pandemic we had to wait at the entrance, they didn't seem to care or even want to touch the device. Recently I took it to Apple, by then the phone had run out of battery (nearest Apple is not near at all), they said I need to take it to the police. All in all the phone is still in my drawer, I've got no intention to use it just no idea what I'm supposed to do with it. I was hoping the owner would use find my iphone or even call their number so I could answer it and say Yeah I've got your phone come pick it up, but they never did.

    The other day I found another iphone, on the street this time. I picked it up and left it on the side of the street, next to a poop bag dispensary. I would take it to help the owner, but like, last time it was a lot of effort to take the phone left and right in the hope companies would care, so I thought to myself, they'll come back to pick it up.

    Was there anything I could have done the first time to find the iphone's owner? The phone is now switched off, it's out of battery and poor person had pictures of their kids as the background, maybe they need those pictures. Also pretty sure the owner was a construction worker as they were fixing something that day at the park before I found the iphone.

    iPhone 7 Unable to Activate

    Ive been using an iphone 7 and it keeps saying "No Service" (I've tried fixing it but it cant). Anyways today I factory reset my phone (Find my iphone was deactivated prior to reset) and now it says "Unable to Activate an update is required".
    I've tried force restarting, tried using itunes, and recovery mode. All don't work. Since my service wont work i tried to use Wifi to activate but it says update failed.
    I've checked the itunes server status and everything is working fine.
    Please help.

    I just woke up and was swiping on my homescreen when I saw the screentime widget show activity while I was sleeping.

    It's from a site called raw.githubusercontent.com.

    Thing is, I only visit github exclusively on my macbook.

    The activity seems to have ended at around 8 am, which is also when I woke up.

    I went to check my macbook's screentime and it wasn't there so I switched the device toggle to only show my phone's but saw a different reading which is just 14m in contrast to the 8+ hours shown on my phone.

    The phone's an iPhone X on 14.7.1 and is also a company phone- nothing recently installed and nothing much installed.

    Iphone notes app- what is the quick notes folder and how to remove it?

    Wtf is this folder for? I've looked through everywhere and I cant find an explanation on why it is there. How do I get rid of it? And then theres also the other "notes" folder at the top that I wish I could remove also because it doesn't let you nest folders into it or move it around.

    Airdrop phantom account?

    I have an iPhone 12 and 15.2.1 this has been happening since before the latest update.

    I noticed on my phone when I went to airdrop my husband that an account came up with no name. My husbands contact showed up separately.

    This then disappeared and I assumed it sorted itself out.

    Now on my husbands phone, you can still see this phantom account. When I turn my airdrop off, my contact name and the phantom simultaneously disappear so I assume it is me.

    Nothing happens when you click it except "waiting…"

    Anyone know what this is or how to fix? I don't understand why I used to be able to see it (as well as on husbands phone) but now only on his?

    I also have a MacBook Pro but airdrop shows the phantom account even when that is off and phone is on or vice versa

    Deleted Hide My Email

    I accidentally deleted a "hide my email" email address for an app I was using. Is there a way to recover that? I tried looking in iCloud.com, but it wasn't there and now I can't log on to that app, which I bought a lifetime subscription for.

    Edit: I chatted with Apple support and they told me to create a new "hide my email" email address for the app. I did and my purchase came back.
