Posted: 24 Feb 2022 03:37 PM PST The Apple Watch has so many useful features that can be lifesaving. For example, you can use the voice memo app in the watch to record audio without people knowing, and it's especially useful when you're in scary situations. I'm so glad I have that feature because I feel safer, like yesterday I was sexually harassed, and I got evidence by recording it on my watch without the person knowing. The Apple Watch can also save you if you fall and become unconscious, and it can detect problems with your heart which I'm really grateful for since my family has a history of heart disease and other issues with that. I'm just so grateful I have the Apple Watch. [link] [comments]

Watch Unlocking iPhone Notification Posted: 24 Feb 2022 06:50 PM PST Another newbie question: I have it set so that my watch will unlock my iPhone. I also have my watch set in silent mode so i don't get beeps, but instead it vibrates. Every time i lift my iPhone up, my wrist vibrates from the watch notifying me that it has unlocked my iPhone. It's a great feature that the watch can unlock my iPhone and my Mac, but i'd love to turn off the vibration for that notification or just completely turn off the notification of my iPhone or Mac being unlocked, but i can't seem to find a setting for it. Need a wake up alarm I can't dismiss from watch, suggestions? Posted: 24 Feb 2022 06:47 PM PST I've just got an apple watch and have been using it to track my sleep, however I've noticed I've been dismissing alarms "subconsciously". I've always had this issue and its why I leave my phone far away so I actually have to get up to dismiss. I would like to use the watch to track my sleep but I've been late twice this week because of this. Any suggestions? [link] [comments]

Has anyone successfully used their Apple Watch to reduce their phone usage? Posted: 24 Feb 2022 08:23 PM PST I originally bought the Apple Watch because I thought it would help me reach for my phone less. My thinking was, I'd get the essentials (like texts, calls, cal/reminder notifications), thereby reducing the number of [link] [comments]

Do I have to use AirPods with my new Apple Watch? Posted: 24 Feb 2022 10:39 PM PST Ok so I just ordered my new Apple Watch yesterday, so I don't have it yet. But I want to start bicycling to lose weight/get fit and I would like to be able to listen to music wirelessly while I do it. Is there an advantage to having AirPods vs say, Raycons? I don't want to spend the extra money on AirPods unless there's some advantage that makes it worth it. [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Feb 2022 08:08 PM PST Hey everyone, I'm new to this subreddit and I am in need of help. Right now, I'm currently trying to pair my 'new' Apple Watch series 3 that I got from a friend. However, every time that I try to do so, it keeps brining me back to the "start pairing screen". I check Bluetooth and the Apple Watch is connected, but on the app it tells me the same thing as said above. Moreover, when I try restarting the app, it brings up that the "Apple Watch is unpairing". I've also tried all possible solutions such as resetting my network, rebooting my phone and Apple Watch, etc… the phone that I'm using is an IPhone SE 2nd Generation (Running iOS 15.3.1). If anyone has a solution to this problem, it would mean a lot to me. I'm also going to attach some pictures just in case you guys don't know what I mean [link] [comments] |
