TIA Posted: 05 Feb 2022 04:13 PM PST EDIT to add: I forgot to add that I'm also getting pop-ups saying my iMessage and iCloud account are different, have spent hours trying to resolve that but cannot. Also when I go to Settings, General, About, I'm seeing a section at the bottom "available SIM" section with a "IMEI 2 " number. What does it mean by my phone was cloned? How does that even happen? If I factory reset my phone, would that resolve the issue? Really hoping to get some help here. Full story below. I've also had issues with my internet in general.. on my laptop, whenever I go to a website it'll give me a fake one and will be blocked by my VPN saying they don't support https sites or it'll just block it completely. I have no idea what any of this means despite hours worth of research and would really really appreciate any help you may be able to offer. TIA. Phone story: My phones been glitching like crazy, doing weird stuff. Was also having issues backing up my phone. A lot of times when I'm on a website, I'll get texts from fake numbers pretending to be the exact company I'm interacting with. Or, I'll get a text from UPS with a tracking update and a few minutes later I get another text from a different number (with an actual area code, not a typical 6-digit company number) that's claiming to be UPS with the same exact update except link is different (clearly spam link). Called Apple and the woman was super weirded out and immediately said it sounds like my phone has been cloned, there's nothing they can do for me, I need to contact police. [link] [comments] | ||

When I try to change it says I have active subscriptions. I have 2 subscriptions which I have canceled but they are still active till the period I have paid for is over. I regularly switch to music player and notetaker, keep the browser open with 5 tabs with split screen on for ebook reader or YouTube. Can I keep 3 apps open at once like Samsung? With split screen and a floating window? Can I move out in and out of demanding games like Genshin seemlessly? Like going to chrome to find a route, and or to discord, music player, etc? I've tried to turn on the screentime utility on each of them and synchronize it. But my iPhone and MacBook only shows these two devices while iPad (my first device) shows all three of them. | Reuse previously used iCloud+ custom domain email Posted: 05 Feb 2022 12:13 PM PST Has there been clarification as to how get around reusing a custom email that was made under a different email? I'll explain below how it went down. Background: I have setup Family Sharing with my daughter.
I have verified that it is in fact removed from mail1@mydomain.com. I even tried readding it under mail1@mydomain.com and that worked fine. But from her account, she can not add it, even after I remove it. Any ideas? [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 05 Feb 2022 10:52 AM PST It is most people's natural instinct to comfortably rest their thumb on the screen when they stop scrolling, rather than let it awkwardly hover. | Certain apps not working without wifi? Posted: 05 Feb 2022 04:53 PM PST I have T-Mobile Unlimited data (my dad is the owner of the family phone plan and I pay him my share every month-for context) and an iPhone SE (2nd generation, iOS 15.3). Lately, my YouTube, Mail, Safari, Snapchat and Instagram apps are not working unless connected to WiFi, even though I have 4 bars LTE. Mostly every other app works besides these 4. I checked to make sure that these apps are enabled to use mobile data on my phone, and they do. Is anyone else having this issue? And is it a T mobile issue or is it an iPhone issue? Or is it possible my dad has blocked my phone from using data on those apps? (We aren't on good terms and he sometimes does petty things to piss me off just to get me to call him just so he can have an argument with me, so if this is possible to do …I wouldn't put it aside for him to do something like that) [link] [comments] | ||

But now it's all loaded, even though the spammer doesn't know your IP address, they DO know your email is active. So now they can spam more or sell your email address. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 05 Feb 2022 05:42 PM PST Hi, On my iPhone, when I open photos, my 8000 photos are "backed up" but when I go to iCloud photos on web for example, I only have 4000 of theses photo. I waited a few days but it just seems that most of my photos doesn't backup while it's stated that it's backed up on my iPhone / iCloud settings I've checked : iCloud photo is on and take 22go of storage. If you have this issue, please verify in your settings->general->About , and look for model. If you don't have any of these ( XS, XS Max, SE2, XR, 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, 12, 12 pro, 12 pro max, 13,13 pro, 13 pro max) you are hardware limited and cannot use the features, in all honesty, keep it on standard for BEST hearing experience, noise isolation if your willing to yell. Now. Solutions for iNugget users of ( XS, XS Max, SE2, XR, 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, 12, 12 pro, 12 pro max, 13,13 pro, 13 pro max), this is everything that fixed my issues . Another solution or heads up, you can not use wide spectrum with AirPods , well for my case (AirPods pro). If your phone is warm , let it cool down before trying. Make a backup and restore your phone. 1st clean reset to see if it works and 2nd reset with backup to see if it continues to work after that. Wait for a new update or downgrade to last signed Ipsw. Up until now that has applied to everything in my phone, but I noticed today that in my calendar app the "United States Holidays" calendar is in Spanish (titled "DÃas Festivos EE.UU"). I don't know how this switch occurred and I can't for the life of me figure out how to change it back to either French or English. The calendar app itself and my system default are both set to French. Everything else in the calendar app is in French aside from this one calendar. Any ideas on how to fix this? I'm going to buy either a refurbished iPhone 13 pro or iPhone 13 new which is another debate too but I'm really curios from other people who came from android what are the features you are missing from android devices?. For now I don't know what I'm gonna miss, a lot of things changed like the possibility to side load apps (emulators are what I wanna have on my phone), customization is kind of good in the new ios and all the apps that are on google play even google services are on ios too. What do you think I'm gonna miss that I'm not thinking about now? FYI I'm using a lot of google drive and google photos (but for the latter I think I can change to icloud) [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 05 Feb 2022 12:59 PM PST For the past few days, I have encountered a problem on the Twitter iOS application on iPhone 13 pro, despite the various updates. The delay between when I click on the screen and when the action is performed is longer than usual. Pictures, videos, tweets taking almost 1 second to load. This is the only app with this problem. I have already tried deleting Twitter and reinstalling it. It works for 2/3 minutes (response time is fast again) but after those few minutes it becomes slow again. Am I the only one affected? I'd like the phone to not show their call even coming in (not just muted, but completely void of any notification at all). But, then I could still see in my call log that they have called when I choose to look. Does that make sense? Basically, I'm looking for a way to not have to see a specific person calling.
