| iPhone not receiving overnight notifications on startup Posted: 09 Dec 2021 01:06 AM PST I normally turn my phone (12 Pro Max, 15.1) off overnight. In the morning, after turning it back on, I receive lockscreen notifications for unread messags from some apps (e.g. FB Messenger) but not others unless I open them (WhatsApp, Telegram). Messages received from these apps after startup are notified per normal. By contrast, my Android phone always polls every app on startup for unread messages (it takes a while; it's a mid-ranger) so I don't have to manually open certain apps to check them. Google searches on this subject just seem to return generic 'no notifications' problems. Any help would be appreciated. [link] [comments] | ||

I want to transfer them to my computer to get them on my external disk but I've tried everything and nothing works. icloud only has like 500 of those files and I still have a hard time accessing them on my computer. I bought a usb cable and it transfers the first 1000 pics and then says the phone is no longer available even if I don't touch it and leave it unlocked and even then I can't open most of the photos because they have strange formats (some have normal format and othere don't, don't know why). I tried google drive but about half the photos don't upload… Maybe I'm just dumb but this really makes me rethink my choice of buying apple products [link] [comments] | ||

It was locked using Face ID and when I went in to view it, it just went blank. I went back to the main list view of the notes app and the entire note had disappeared. It's not in the recently deleted section. I've switched the phone on and off multiple times. I've tried checking iCloud but it's missing from there also. There's only one thing that bothers me and these are "restart bugs". So my phone basically freezes and it restarts. I noticed that it only happened on Snapchat and always after going in the camera of the app. And my screen also turns pink. At least it used to be like that. Yesterday my phone restarted on another app but without having screen issues it was just frozen and i also noticed it restarted way faster. There was also the loading icon. Under settings > passwords, autofill is turned on as is autofill credit cards. When I go to a site requiring a login, I am not prompted. I have to go look up that password and copy paste. These other two devices belong to the same household. My phone calls to them go straight to voicemail. My texts and iMessages to them are not received (despite showing up as "deliver" on my phone). This was sudden; before, I was able to communicate with these phones with no issues. Meanwhile, they have no trouble reaching me via text or voice. The three of us have sat next to each other and held each other's phones, testing this and trying to troubleshoot. Their phones do not block my number. We are stumped. Does anyone have any ideas? Posted: 08 Dec 2021 05:19 PM PST I know that you are able to hide pages on the new iPhones by putting it on jiggle mode and clicking the dots at the bottom of the page to see all of the pages you have on your phone. But the problem is that whenever I go in to edit my home screen and click the dots at the bottom it just switches to one of the other pages on my phone (goes to the next page to the right or left). Just wondering if this is maybe a hardware issue? To clarify, I keep my phone in a case and have never dropped it in water.
