    Solved it with the help of Apple support. It was driving me nuts. Basically whenever I started playing something (no matter the app), the content, 9 out of 10 times, would start on super pixelated SD quality and stay there. I had to restart playback two or three times until it finally started in maximum quality and stayed there.

    It happened system wide, across all apps. My Apple TV is hardwired to my router. 300/300 fiber. A run of speedtest from the apple tv itself revealed excelent speed and ping. Very strange.

    Finally decided to contact Apple, and they suggested me to disable the "Suggest Nearby AirPods" feature. Its on Settings-Remotes and devices-Bluetooth.

    Once I did that, boom, everything was fixed. Why?. No idea.

    Why hasn't iTunes dropped episode 6 of season 13 of Doctor Who? I paid for the season and every Monday it dropped. Now, instead of episode 6 I get an invitation on AppleTV to try AMC+. If I had wanted AMC+ I wouldn't have bought the season on iTunes!!

    What gives?

    Showtime constantly freezing

    Just signed up Showtime for one month trial and was trying to watch Billions last night, but it was constantly freezing and buffering ... I am using newest Apple TV with hardwired fiber internet 500/500

    Does anyone else experienced issues with Showtime ? Should I address the issue to my ISP ?

    Can appleTV play video over HDMI and audio over bluetooth simultaneously?

    I would like to hook up an AppleTV 4th generation (A1625) to my projector. The projector has terrible speakers, so I would like to use a soundbar for sound.

    Can the AppleTV send the video signal over HDMI and output the sound over bluetooth?

    Has anyone ever found a fix for the 'Match framerate' audio sync issue?

    I'm talking about how sound is almost a quarter of a second early when the setting is turned on, and goes back to being perfectly in sync when turned off.

    I've only just bought my Apple TV 4K (2021) and I immediately saw it happen whenever it switched to 24hz content. It only took a quick Google and reddit search to confirm my suspicions, but most posts are either old or never gained any traction.

    Has anyone ever found an actual fix, besides just turning it off, setting the system refresh rate to 60hz and enabling 5:5 pulldown on their tv? It's what I've done to fix it now, but it's not ideal since I'm in a country that has a lot of 50hz content as well.

    Or are we still just waiting for Apple to patch it?

    Edit: For now I've settled with turning 'Match Framerate' on and setting the audio delay on my LG CX to 50, for the Apple TV input only. This seems to fix the delay whenever 50hz or 24hz is activated, but since YouTube doesn't switch framerates, audio is now slightly late on every YouTube video. I guess it's a lesser of two evils type of deal. I just hope it gets fixed at some point.

    Apple TV 4K 2021 shuts off

    I have an Apple TV 4K 2021 model which I've had since May. For the past couple of months, I've been experiencing the ATV shutting down on its own after it has been on for over 4 hours. There is never any indication or symptom that occurs right before it shuts down. The only common indication is the ATV has been on/active for at least 4 hours.

    I'll be in the middle of watching a program and my TV will suddenly go dark and I'll notice the white LED light on the front of the ATV has turned off. My software is up-to-date and I've tried resetting to factory settings and starting over but it still happens.

    I have two older Apple TV 4K's in my bedrooms which do not exhibit this behavior so it may only affect the newest generation version that came with the new remote.

    Anyone one else experiencing this frustrating behavior? Thanks.

    Mad Max: Fury Road , HD version audio artifact at 43:18?

    Anyone else with an Apple TV HD hear an audio artifact at 43 minutes and 18 seconds? It is a squelch sound. Doesn't happen on iOS devices, only on Apple TV so far.

    HDMI CEC Issues?

    Has anyone noticed HDMI CEC issues? I have used HDMI CEC for years with my AppleTVs without issue. The AppleTV would turn on both my receiver and my TV. I have the latest AppleTV 4K and have been having issues turning the TV on. Could this be a software issue?

    HDMI displaying when I play or exit content

    I have a new Apple TV 4K plugged into an old Samsung Smart TV.

    When I select a movie or episode of a show, the TV displays the HDMI input as if I've just switched from another thing to the Apple TV. It does the same when I back out of the episode or movie playing.

    I tried turning off "control TVs and receivers" which did not resolve it.

    We have our TV button set to take us to the home screen, and if I click it during movie or tv episode playback the same thing happens.

    So it seems to be whenever we enter or exit playback video, regardless of app.

    Does anyone have experience with this or troubleshooting recommendations?

    Another way to pair phone as remote?

    I have an old Apple TV and my tv remote is broken (right key doesn't work). I'm trying to add my phone as a remote but it requires me to enter the code on tv which I can't do because my remote is broken. Is there another way to pair it?

    Dolby atmos spatial audio on Apple TV 4K?

    So I wanted to get hbo max but I don't wanna pay 15$ just to find out I can only get multichannel spatial audio, does anyone know if I will be able to get Dolby atmos spatial audio? So far the only apps that let me get Dolby atmos is Netflix and Apple TV, the rest have been multichannel, so what about hbo max?

    Anyone uses Infuse to watch Anime?

    I use fansub rips to watch Anime, and infuse doesn't seem to pick up the episodes to sort them like it does with regular TV Shows/Movies, it just shows them as separate files in the "Other" section.

    It also shows a bunch of unplayable files, not sure what those are from since they're no visible on the shared folder: Picture
