    I never had a problem until iOS 15 when the remote app was discontinued & the CC was the only place to launch the Apple TV remote.

    Right now all the buttons work, but the touchpad won't swipe.

    Other times it won't connect or drops inputs randomly.

    If I was jailbroken I could probably install an older version of the remote app. Are there 3rd party atv remote apps?

    I'm pretty disappointed with the atv. I think I'll replace it with a cheaper Roku or an Nvidia shield with AI upscaling.

    Is it possible? Video on tv, audio via iPhone headphones

    I just bought the 2017 4K Apple TV and I am wondering if something is possible.

    I don't have a pair of reliable/trouble free headphones but I want to watch a movie without the whole house hearing is. Is it possible to play audio through the IPhone like it is with AirPods?

    ATV4K Audio Control | Required Setting for Samsung 8-Series

    My apologies if this has been answered previously, but my searching was unable to find a post that has addressed what I hope is an obvious setting required for allowing audio control via the AppleTV 4K remote.

    Issue: Unable to control audio volume/mute via the AppleTV 4K remote.

    Hardware in place:
    - Apple TV 4K
    - Belkin Ultra HD High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable, Optimal Viewing for Apple TV and Apple TV 4K, Dolby Vision HDR, 2 M/6.ft – Black
    - Samsung Flat 55-Inch 4K 8 Series UHD Smart TV with HDR and Alexa Compatibility - 2019 Model (UN55RU8000FXZA)
    - SAMSUNG 3.1 Soundbar HW-R650 with Wireless Subwoofer, Bluetooth Compatible, Smart Sound Mode, Game Mode, 340-Watts (HW-R650/ZA)
    - SAMSUNG SWA-8500S 2.0 Speaker System Wall Mountable Black Model (SWA-8500S/ZA)

    HD content flickering

    I've noticed that in HD scenes the darker areas of the picture are flickering. This is not present on the 4K content tho.

    I'm using AppleTV 4K (2nd Gen) with a Samsung Crystal UHD TV. All of the settings on the ATV are done properly - 4K SDR 60Hz, math content and range is On.

    No matter what I do my Apple TV can't sign into Hulu?

    So I have Hulu from the $1 deal. I can sign in from my computer without issue but the Hulu app just says the password is wrong each time I try to log in. Just to test it I even reset my password and it still didn't work. Any ideas? I tried both my email and my password 5 times so I'm pretty sure I'm not typing it wrong each time.

    Unable to activate appletv 4th gen

    I get an error that the activation server is unavailable. I've restarted my router, tried another router. Used a completely different internet service and even hotspotted my phone but no luck.

    Any ideas ?

    Connecting to other apps doesn't work on the TV app

    I decided to finally start actually using the TV app, and when I go to the row to connect other apps (like Disney+, Hulu, etc), I keep getting a message saying
    "we've run into a problem.
    It looks like something didn't work out right, check your internet connection"

    My internet connection is fine, I've restarted my Apple tv, I've checked for an update, everything is good.
    Does anyone else have this problem?

    I would like a paused fullscreen FreezeFrame shot so I can read what is on screen. But WHY does that mini-screen preview window refuse to disappear? Sometimes it does. But often it does not. Is this a BUG?

    I'm currently using Strong DNS to access the NHL from Canada with an American login. Something logged me out and now it says credentials for t work at "rogers.com". Obviously it's reverted back to Canada somehow but I'm not sure what setting to make it so it get the US NHL app. Canada one even has French in places. Help!
