    Hey, I'm an android and windows user transferring to the apple ecosystem.
    I recently got an AT&T locked iphone 12 mini, and have been setting it up.

    Whenever I turn on iMessages or Facetime in Settings, a popup appears, saying "iMessage Activation, An error occured during activation. Try again."

    They connect to the email I used for my apple id, but my phone number is stuck on verifying.

    I've tried most of the common fixes like resetting network settings, relogging apple id, and the like.

    Just some background: I used to own a android phone. I got a new sim card with this iphone from AT&T, but my phone number has not changed. I have activated the sim card, and normal messaging + calling works.

    Would appreciate any insight or help.

    Whenever I use data I can only go on google and search things on google, once I click to go on another website I get this page. When I switch to wifi , everything works fine. Can anyone explain ?

    Hearing other people on FaceTime (after iOS 15.2 update)

    Hi, so I was facetiming with my friend and we were going to watch some show on youtube, using screensharing.

    While we were watching my sound suddenly got cut out and I couldn't hear my friend or the show anymore.. All I could hear was some man speaking in Turkish.

    So I first was confused and thought that maybe there was a video still playing on the background in another room.. but I heard it from my noise canceling headphones, so that wouldn't be possible. Then I thought maybe I have still another app open, but that was also not the case. We ended the call and she called me again. But then it happened AGAIN. She hung up. And called again. AND I STILL COULD HEAR OTHER PEOPLE.

    So I decided to call her via Whatsapp, thinking the issue may be FaceTime. But I also heard it there. So obviously I got a little scared. I tried searching on the internet if other people had this issue, but couldn't find anything..

    So I'm trying my luck here.

    Thanks for reading. I hope SOMEONE can tell me what the reason may be or if there is a solution to this weird problem.

    Hi

    I just updated my iPhone 12 Pro Max to iOS 15.2 coming from 14.8 and I noticed a glitch with True Tone it just keeps kinda turning off and on while I'm sitting in the same environment. Just now while I'm typing this text it kept happening, the screen is flickering between cold and warm tones and it's really annoying.

    Is it an acknowledged bug related to iOS 15 or could it be something else?

    Considering to buy a MacMini M1 today ...

    but if unsure of the memory size. 8 or 16 GB. I will use it primarily for regular office work and an occasional game session (warthunder).

    256 GB SSD will be enough for me, I have most if not all of my files in the cloud and is also using an external SSD for offline files.

    My actual question is; I can wait for some months if Apple is going to release something newer or updated hardware. The one I am looking at is labled MacMini M1 (2020) which indicates that a newer one should be released soon (?).

    facetime not working properly

    i just upgraded from the xr to the 13 and everything has been flawless besides the fact i can't receive ft calls. i can facetime people but i don't get the notifications of them calling me, not even a missed call notification. yet regular calls work fine on both ends ?? i don't get what i'm doing

    Refund for ineligible item?

    I recently requested a refund for a purchase that I did not make and it was marked as "Not eligible for refund". Is there a way to contact Apple again because I feel like my request is justifiable and I wasn't given a reason as to why the purchase was considered ineligible.
