Posted: 12 Dec 2021 08:19 PM PST Hello, I have the normal AirPods for my business cell phone and my pros for my personal/music etc. the sound difference is incredible and noise canceling is incredible in the pros. However they fall out so easily in my ear. If I'm eating, fall out. If I talk a lot, fall out. Running, yeah good luck. They are trash when it comes to staying in my ear. The normal AirPods stay in EXTREMELY well. Pro have got to be one of the most disappointing products I've used from Apple. [link] [comments]
I welcome myself back to the Mac family with a 14" M1 MacBook Pro Posted: 12 Dec 2021 08:28 PM PST It's been a good while. Here is my current generation. It seems fitting that my last Mac in 2011-12 is the last Mac that could run Rosetta and this one is the first of t he current generation that runs the new translation layer for intel Macs. It's a 14" with 16GB memory and 512GB of hard drive space. Its pretty frickin amazing. It has a better screen than my Samsung 4K HDR10+ TV lol. I haven't really used it yet. I'm still charging it up to 100% battery. I'm happy at the movement to standardised ports and HDMI out. I'm not so happy about the return of mag (un)safe. This is also my first M1 so I'm getting to MacOS XII. I'm also having to reset my preferences including setting up my right click button, and I'm getting used to a Mac without a keyboard brightness button on the function buttons which is a little head doing as I like to adjust my keyboard brightness during the day. Overall though, it's pretty amazing. I'm glad I grabbed the space grey option, but I'm a little somber about the fact that I don't have a glowing Apple anymore. [link] [comments]
Anyone know why voice control is still part of iOS? Posted: 12 Dec 2021 10:23 PM PST I was digging around in the settings and was surprised to see voice control is still part of iOS since Siri is around. Anyone know what purpose it serves now or how they use it? [link] [comments]
Is there a way to force apps into landscape mode on an iPad? (Rant included) Posted: 12 Dec 2021 05:58 PM PST Apple's recommended response to this question, previously asked on their forums was not sufficient. When using an iPad with the keyboard attachment in landscape/laptop mode, everything should stay that way. Is there a way for us users to make this happen now? Apple, you know the apps that don't support this are just lazily making their iOS apps a very slightly different width and scaling everything. Thus, you should add support to put black bars on the left and right of apps that don't permit us to rotate them. It blows my mind, that we cannot even use split view or overlay mode on any app. Split view has just about the correct ratio as portrait mode, so you just have to scale the app. And same for overlay mode. Please fix, this is a bit rediculous. Love and peace, Bordemin <3 [link] [comments] |
