    I recently updated to iOS 15.1. Afterwards, I deleted an app that was giving me trouble. I then reset my phone. Upon restarting, I see the app on my home screen but with a white circle icon instead.

    I can click "delete" on the home screen but I still see it in my settings. However, it's not in my storage. When I search the app in the store, all it says is open, but clicking open doesn't do anything.

    If I reset my phone, the icon reappears upon restart.

    Any fixes on how to get this app functional again?

    Is my iphone going to get blocked?

    Hey, I've had an iphone 7 plus for two years now and i pay with my service provider in my own account every month etc, but my ex got it for 20 bucks off the street at the time and lately hes been harrassing me and the cops havent helped at all, but he has a picture of the imei and stuff (i have the original box) and he keeps threatening to have my phone blocked ,and report it stolen to Cricket and stuff. also for context he stole my phone last week by force off of me and i just got it back at my door because he was afraid of the investigation. and hs worked at all those phone companies and still does. Is he able to block my phone that easily?by just box info and no personal info? idk if he has a receipt because it was off the street but if so could he block my phone? ive spent so much money getting this phone back i cnt get another, im tired of worrying about it i still have to worry about other false things hes telling importnt figures

    Question about albums

    When I make a new album in my photos, does it always create yet another folder inside the new album? Like basically an album inside an album? I'm trying to just make a folder/album without having more sub folders/albums inside it.

    Auto brightness not working on new iPhone 13 Pro

    Hi, I bought an iPhone 13 Pro last week and whenever I am out in bright sunlight I noticed the screen doesn't change brightness. This makes it really hard to see and I started getting suspicious that the auto-brightness setting was not working. I am sure I have it on under Accessibility | | Display and Text Size. I can manually set the brightness to watch the scale as I turn on and off lights or even shine a really bright flashlight at the ambient light sensor and it doesn't budge.

    I tried removing the tempered glass screen protector and tested it with a naked display. No difference. I also tried restarting the phone a few times. I am running iOS 15.2 and the phone is completely stock.

    I compared this to my iPad with the same settings (auto-brightness) and if you shine a flashlight at the display you can watch the brightness scale up to compensate. This does not happen at all with the iPhone.

    Does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening? Thanks.

    Hi guys.

    My partner has an iPhone 12 Pro Max that has just sat in a draw since release. She set it up but never actually put a sim car in it but now her current phone is broken we can't remember the passcode.

    I have connected to windows pc with most recent iTunes but the phone won't show in iTunes when I boot in safe mode.

    Anyone got any ideas

    Junk mail no longer deletes automatically

    I recently upgraded to an iPhone 13 and now when I delete mail in my junk folder on the mail app, it goes to the trash folder instead of permanently deleting right away. Is there anyway to change this? I don't like this extra step in order to clear out my junk mail.

    Just got the notification that says an item was seen traveling with me. The map showed the route of me going to and from my friends house yesterday, and then it shows the exclamation mark at my current location.

    I don't own any airpods pros (just regular airpods). I looked around and couldnt find anything. I tried playing a noise, it wouldnt connect. I tried the 'Find Nearby' thing, and it couldnt find it.

    The creepy thing is it says it's sending my location to the owner (wtf??). Is there anyway to disable this? Is this a bug?

    Hide sender names in iMessage

    I've managed to enable the ability to hide text preview and sender names w/ WhatsApp but can't seem to figure it out with Message/iMessage.

    Does anyone know how we can receive Lock Screen notifications from Message w/o displaying both the sender's name and content of the message?

    Just an update: looks like WhatsApp calls will still display the name of the missed caller as wel. Any way to hide these names too?

    iPhone 11 Pro upper speaker volume sounds low/clogged.

    I've noticed lately that the sound comming out from upper speaker sounds clogged, it can be noticed while talking to people (phone conversations) and while playing music or any kind of media. I tried cleaning it carefuly with a toothbrush but no change, it even looks clean. Any advices?

    Issues with walmart app on iphone 13

    Has anyone else had issues with apps on the 13? Since i moved from the 12 to the 13 pro i have had button clicks not work in apps like walmart+. It seems to be random parts of apps. I can price check but i cannot use scan and go as the button to continue will not register a push. On my wife's 12 everything works as expected.

    FIX? iPhone 12 pro submerged in a saltwater jacuzzi for 1 min... HELP

    My phone was in my pocket, and after I sat in, I realized the mistake.

    I took the phone out but did not turn it off, I tried to charge it etc.

    Charging stated that there was water in the port

    Sim card error since then.

    The facetime camera is not working.

    Everything else is ok.

    Should I:

    turn off the phone, open sim card tray, submerge in fresh water and "rinse it out" a few times.

    Then leave it in a sealed container of rice for a week?

    I have a loaner phone but I want to know if there is a way to fix this, or is it toast?

    Edit, I got a close-up of the front facetime lens, some water can be seen in it. the angle line is actually condensation, not light.

    iPhone 11Pro going crazy

    It started with my phone turning off sometimes while playing games or watching YouTube. But recently my phone is going completely crazy. It starts to turn on and off with the loading thing from when your iPhone turns on, app logos are invisible(pictures), very slow sometimes and applications crashing all the time (specially clash Royale and YouTube). I don't know if it's a virus or my phone, but I would like some help.

    Why doesn't the wide-angle view merge into the regular view in 1x photo mode?

    So when taking a photo, the wide angle lense shows in the greyed out area around the camera, while the main angle lense is in the middle.

    But after taking the photo, only the main middle part saves, while the greyed area around edges is lost.

    Is this supposed to happen? Can I take a photo that merges the 1x camera with the 0.5x camera (like I see in the preview)?

    I got iPhone 12 btw.

    Music not playing from Files

    Hi everyone,

    I own an iPhone 12 mini running 15.1.1. I recently downloaded some audio from YouTube that is unavailable for download on any music platform. I saved the songs to my downloads folder under Files. For whatever reason, some of the songs do not play. Their formats are correct, and they open in a display screen, but there is no option to play them. Is iOS somehow scanning the file and preventing me from playing it due to potential copyright infringments? I've never heard of such a thing. Maybe you folks have. Any feedback would be great.
