When I try to use the auto fill for OTPs it never shows me the suggestion, but once I make it through that text box and I'm on another one, it suggests the numbers to me. But we're unable to use the greyed out SharePlay button during FaceTime calls to share what's on our screen. Is this a temporary issue? | Posted: 05 Nov 2021 08:14 AM PDT Ever since I updated to iOS 15.1, I have noticed a significant issue with battery drain on my iPhone 13 Pro. I will be simply scrolling on Reddit, Twitter, or another platform or even web browsing and I noticed that my battery drains 2 to 3% within minutes. I never noticed this issue even on the base version of iOS 15 which itself was still quite buggy with a lot of issues on the iPhone 13 Pro. Has anyone else experienced these issues? I found a forum on Apple's discussions page website where other individuals stated they were experiencing similar issues on a variety of models outside of the iPhone 13 lineup. I have the music app exited out so it's not in the background. Even my apple watch shows the music icon with my playlist ready to go. Is there a setting that i'm not seeing that turns this off? I'm really enjoying it so far because I haven't really noticed anything that I've lost by making the switch... Until today. I just realized that Google Photos on my iPhone is missing a bunch of Google One exclusive editing features including portrait blur, which I used to use pretty frequently. | Posted: 05 Nov 2021 06:15 AM PDT This started when I was on 14.8. For about a week or two and I was hoping installing 15.0 would fix it but it never did. So, I get notifications like messages and podcast updates and they show up on Home Screen and ping my Watch just like they should. But 3rd party apps aren't working at all. Outlook doesn't show me new emails. I have to open the app for it to check for new emails. Discord and Reddit won't notify me if I get messages. Seems like only apple's apps work. | Posted: 05 Nov 2021 04:56 AM PDT A query relating to the little arrow icon indicating use of location. Ios15 , 13 mini, if I have weather set to always allow access to location in order to receive updates on rain, does this mean that the arrow icon will for ever be stuck on the top left? I like when I set the various focus settings that the icon for which focus I have it set to appear in this area but it seems to constantly be the arrow instead if I have the weather set to always allow. So in short as long as I allow' always allow' for the weather then I'm stuck with that space dedicated to the arrow icon and nothing else? Thanks [link] [comments]  | ||

I know Apple Car Play is supposed to be good, but I liked that I could control from my phone and not have to pay the dealership to install the software in my car. Still interested nicely with Bluetooth, music/Google assistant and maps. Is there a similar phone-only interface or apps besides Audible with a nice car mode on iPhone/iOS?
