    I miss the calculator app from google on android

    I cannot emphasise how much dumbstruck i feel right now, i see almost everything in iOS to the little details has been laid to perfection and looks so nice.

    Yet apple can't design one decent calculator app? I never realised how good the google calc app was until i saw the iOS one.

    My main issue with the iOS calc app is you cannot add more than one input at a time on screen

    For example, i wanted to solve a combinatorial math problem like "8!/(3!5!)"

    Another issue, although its not a deal breaker is that you have to use the phone in landscape to access the scientific notations.

    I frequently use the scientific notations so this is a major pain in the rear for me.

    I looked up in the appstore and the only decent calculator app I found suitable was "Calzy" but its a paid app unfortunately.

    Just wanted to rant about how ridiculous i feel right now. The google calculator app was absolutely amazing and I appreciate it so much.

    Is there no hope from apple to make a decent calc app? Lol even iPad doesn't have the native calc app

    Hello Reddit, I see how I can view and search received mail in Outlook for iphone, and can even add the qualifier "From:" for a certain contact. How do I search for specifically sent emails? Changing to the sent folder doesn't seem to help. And adding "To:" doesn't help. Any suggestions?

    I'm no longer able to see my safari tabs from my iPhone or viceversa. Can't find the settings anywhere. It's been replaced by links shared by you. Am I missing something?

    iOS 15.1; iPhone 8. Phone experiencing extreme slowness/performance issues after iOS 15.0 update.

    Difficult to text/ wrote out words. Laggy and not as responsive. I went to apple Genius Bar. They went into Setttings > General > Transfer or Reset iphone > Reset. They said that reset the iOS 15 software on my phone, in case it wasn't installed properly. That did help a little bit but I'm still seeing performance issues that will make me consider Erase All Content and Settings or get a new phone. Note this iPhone 8 was purchased new in Nov'2019.

    Hide Unknown Calls/Text - No History

    I'm aware of the options to "Silence Unknown" callers and parental controls to prevent numbers from being accepted and or dialed/text.

    Is there a setting to completely stop those numbers from showing up in call/voicemail/missed texts?

    Apps to improve your driving

    Driving apps - I can't seem to find any apps that uses your accelerometer / gps to monitor your driving and suggest ways to be more fuel efficient or be gentler on the car in terms of wear and tear on the brakes?

    Is there a way to configure an “On this day” look-back in the Photos app?

    I love the Facebooks and Google Photos feature where it highlights photos taken years ago on or around the same day but there doesn't seem to be a good equivalent for Apple. Quite honestly the For You section in the app is pretty irrelevant 90%+ of the time

    IOS15 bug? Unable to receive SMS from Messages when Locked and Bluetooth is turned on

    Hi, I am noticing that I do not receive notifications from Messages when my phone is locked and Bluetooth switched on. If I have my bluetooth switched off and phone locked, I do receive notifications. Anyone facing the same issue?

    Delete data associated with an app that's crashing without deleting the app?

    I'm beta testing some software and it was working but, now it crashes before it even launches. I want to be able to kill it and remove associated data from my phone like I can do on android without rebooting the phone. Is it possible to reset an app to completely default settings on ios in a similar matter as going into the application settings and clicking erase data?

    I have an active Apple Music subscription and noticed I can't drag and drop songs locally from my hard drive to my iPhone. Is this disabled since I have a subscription? If not why aren't my songs syncing? Thanks!

    Do not disturb help?

    On iOS14, my do not disturb settings meant that I wouldn't get any notifications in my Lock Screen and i wouldn't get any Pop-up banners while on my phone. But the notifications would still appear in the notification centre and the red number on apps would still appear. I'm struggling to get a focus to work like that. Can anyone help?

    Android user question

    I'm thinking about getting an iPhone. I use my Android a lot as a hotspot on WiFi (instead of cellular) WHILE also connected to WiFi.

    What are my options on an iPhone? I have a MacBook Pro, so I was thinking about doing a USB tether from the iPhone to my MacBook Pro, then creating a WiFi hotspot on my MacBook Pro, but that seems like an awful lot of steps, compared to simply turning on a hotspot while already connected to WiFi like I can on Android.

    Possible to disable delete confirmation dialog for Photos app? (Any app store apps that makes deleting photos easier?)

    I take between 100 - 300 photos per day via my iPhone 13 Pro max, and i delete the majority of the photos i take and only keep a few (like 20-30 max). Is there a way to ignore or disable the damn pop up that asks me if i want to delete the photo? This popup is so fricking annoying and takes a lot of time when having lots of photos.

    I do know that i can select several photos and then delete them all together, but i need to check the full photo before deleting, and the ios photo app doesnt allow me to look at the photo, mark it, and then swipe to next photo etc. Connecting to a computer is out of the question, it needs to be done directly via my iPhone ;)

    Maybe there are other photo apps that i can install from app store that makes it easier to view and delete photos? Any suggestions?

    How do I share reminders between iPhones?

    My wife tries to share shopping list made in ios reminders and i got an e-mail from her with a button to accept the invitation. It takes me to the iCloud.com website to log in, which I do, I confirm the login (iCloud asks for it every time I log in by website) and gives me the verification code that I have niejeden to use! I just tap OK and I have No prompt or anything that would let me use the code. How do I do it? I am left hanging with a message that there is 2step verification and I have to open it on PC but there is no prompt to use the code on the PC ICloud website as well.

    Lost all open private safari tabs after updating to iOS 15.1

    I've just lost all my open private tabs on Safari after updating to 15.1, they weren't that much important to me to bookmark them, just some articles I wanted to read later when I have the time. And because it was on private mode I can not see what they were.

    iPhone reboots slowly

    It takes around 50 seconds to reboot.

    Could you help me coping with it?
