| Apple Maps is bad on iOS15.1! Fix these bugs!!! Posted: 13 Nov 2021 07:30 PM PST I'm a delivery driver…so I use Apple Maps all day long everyday. One feature I greatly appreciate is the "thumbs up or down" feature…which allows me to input correct directions when addresses are incorrect. However, there are several downright frustrating problems with the navigation on iOS 15.1! Firstly, the navigation voice has no volume control! If I'm trying to listen to audio in a separate app (YouTube for example), the navigation voice completely overpowers the audio and makes multitasking impossible whilst using navigation. The navigation reduces the other audio to the point it cannot be heard, and then practically shouts out directions at a frustratingly loud volume! A simple navigation voice volume control would completely sort out this issue… Next, the navigation misses turn notifications frequently. The voice might say "In 2 miles turn left onto "A Street", but once you reach the point that you are supposed to turn left, the navigation will not notify you at all! Even worse, instead of recalculating, it just continues on and tries to take you in giant circles which add several minutes onto trip times! As a person who consistently must use navigation for my job, I enjoy music and audio books through YouTube…but after this newest update…the navigation voice is severely overpowering and makes my job much less enjoyable! I also get paid for my mileage…so constantly missing my turns because of gps failing to notify me literally loses me money! For the time being I've been re-trying to get either Cercube or YT++. I know on an iPhone (especially anything after 14.3 (which I have 14.7) it's impossible to jailbreak your phone. I've been at this the last 2 hours and I need to know if there's A). Any free alternatives to Cydia. I have tried downloading Cydia Free, Cydia Demo and Cydia Impactor. It seems I need to pay before I can do anything. I can't use AltStore because it requires MacOS 14 or higher. I can't upgrade my Mac past 13. Looking on YouTube I get either one of those stupid fake injector things that aren't legit or another site I have to pay for. B). Any way to open an .ipa file on my iPhone I have both the .ipa files of YT++ and Cercube but no way to open them. Tried to get AppCake but every attempt has been futile. I have a profile without there being a profile downloaded. (So that's great) I realize it anyone responds it's gonna be the same 2 responses "Sorry but only way is to buy YouTube Premium" Or "LOL iPhone sucks get an Android, stupid-face. It's impossible to engage in any conversation in a relatively noisy environment, the phone keeps muting the other person, I need to put my microfone on mute do avoid the interruption. My problem is that before the upgrade, a link that someone sent me on iMessage would appear on Safari suggestions but after some time it would disappear, or after using the link. Currently the links stay there the whole time and I see them everyday. Is there any way to adjust the new ,,Shared with you" to act the same way as the old Safari suggestions? When trying to download photos from iPhone to windows 10 PC while using explorer all goes smooth. When trying to drag or paste a photo from pc to DCIM folder it looks like the folder was protected and can't paste anything there. Been doing that with other devices, it wasn't any issue at all. We receive all requests to purchase from App store (family account sharing works fine) All ipads (3 of them) and iphone XS were working on IOS 14 with ask to buy permissions (2 kids under 13 with ipad minis) and the requests were received by the iphone and other ipad. I am used to chrome on PC and former phones but Safari is so much more fluid than Chrome on ios so i would like to use that. | Google Chrome bookmarks and syncing Posted: 14 Nov 2021 10:01 AM PST Odd one. I use Google Chrome, and save my Bookmarks in it. Thus, being able to view them from any device. However, I have a few links that no matter me saving the bookmark, on my Mac Mini, iPad or iOS device, said bookmark does not show up on other devices. If I happen to delete or move bookmarks within Google Chrome, those update no problem, across all devices. If I add a new bookmark, again, those update across all devices. I have signed out of Google Chrome and back in, on all devices, too. Weird one really. The main bookmark not synching across all devices, is one for Discord. Odd. Thoughts... [link] [comments] | ||

I can attach screenshots of what I mean if needed but I've got a question for people who are using iOS 15 (which is probably most of us here) In iOS 14, I had my home screens set up so when I pressed the home button, it would slide to the main page like normal but it was blank with no apps except the bottom row. Now with widgets in iOS 15, that ability is seemingly missing. I can send screenshots of my setup if needed. I'm a photographer and I love putting my best photos on my wallpapers but since the change, I haven't been able to show my home screen. At some point my phone storage got full and I realized that Podcasts automatically downloaded all episodes in my library. OK, I researched and learned that in the settings I can disable automatically enabling downloads when following a show, but I still had to manually disable automatic downlods for all shows I already followed. That was very repetitive work but well. Then I changed phones without backup. Podcasts remembers all shows I follow, just as expected, but it doesn't remember that I don't want automatic downloads?? So I have to manually set it for each show again? Is it too much to ask for a big "disabling downlods" button, just saying thank you, I'm not interested in downloading any show at all, ever??
