    Hey, really need help.

    I'm at a bad place mentally rn and my mom just called me to help bc her phone got stolen lol

    My mom's phone was stolen and I've looked up ways to help retrieve it but nothing works. I can't add the device on Find My IPhone bc I didn't have her phone linked prior? I'm trying to add her device but it keeps saying "Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer to make your item discoverable".

    I try to login her iCloud and it requires two-factor authentication. What happened to the days when all Find My iPhone required was a Apple ID login???

    New phone keeps doing this

    Does anyone know why my iPhone does this? This happens when I swipe up, but when it went black with the white circle, it turned my phone off this time. Hopefully, the video below shows what I am trying to explain.

    My Macbook Pro (2015) is on its last legs

    Im currently a university student and Ive had my macbook pro since high school. Im in my last year doing an undergrad thesis, my masters is coming up so I will need to run programming software and handle many documents. I was thinking I'd get the Air with the M1 chip 8GB RAM and 256SSD. I know apple has education pricing. I'm wondering if theres a good time to buy? Do apple products ever go on sale?

    ios Calendar app incorrectly marks my events 5 hours ahead of what I input when changing from 'all day' event to specific time.

    Sometime after upgrading to ios 15, but not immediately after, my calendar began a consistently buggy behaivor with one specific action. When I have an all day event and I want to change it to a specific time of day, after clicking 'Done' it incorrectly sets the time as 5 hours ahead of what was input. When I go back and change it a second time it is fine. But this occurs 100% of the time when I try to go from all day to specific time and 100% of the time changes correctly the second time around.

    I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app. The calendar account I use is my gmail account. Hoping this thread can suggest some trouble shooting.

    What you see in video is the calendar NOT acknowledging the time I am putting in and consistently marking it as 5 hours ahead of what is input until I change it a second time.

    I tried fixing my own shattered digitizer and lcd a while back.. bad idea.

    killed the home button entirely, so i use a float, and theres one small section of the screen thats dead.

    that section happens to fall within the passcode keyboard placement, so in order to unlock my device i have to rotate my screen twice.

    but somehow, my screen rotation is now mysteriously locked, and i am indeed locked out.

    is there anyway to unlock the rotation from the lock screen so i can enter my password?

    or does anyone have any other ideas?

    any clues or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    My text won’t show up to a specific person?

    For some reason, whenever I try to text a specific person, my text doesn't show up on their phone, but I can see their text show on mine, and it's only happening to one person, every one else I text works fine. Not sure why this is happening, can someone tell me why this happens?

    How do I turn off focus mode on texts?

    So my mom is having trouble with turning off the focus mode on texts (where we have it on the bottoms of messages saying Mom has notifications silenced). I've done pretty much all the options I can think of so she can get texts from us but we still got the notifications silenced thing on the bottom of the message with her. How do we get rid of this?

    MacBook Air Bootloop

    My 2020 MacBook Air retina was having an issue where it was chiming but booting to a black screen. Now, after I performed an SMC reset, it turns on for 5 seconds to a black screen and then off for 15. I can not get it to turn off at all. Any help?

    iPad Air 4 power button shattered

    Hi everyone! I have this iPad Air for half a year but stupid, broke me didn't get Apple Care for it and I woke up today struggling to turn on my screen with touch ID that just didn't work no matter what and I noticed that the power button started to peel and crack? I don't know how this even happened and I can recall only ever dropping my iPad twice and on the carpet flooring too, so it shouldn't have done that PLUS I normally put it in a case, and I only remove it for when I draw with Procreate to move the iPad around. My question is, is there anyway to fix it so it can do touch ID again? As I don't have Apple Care, can someone explain the process and if it's still possible to get it sent for repair and how much it would cost for this type of minor damage?

    Notification sync issue for Reminders marked as completed

    My Reminders notifications don't sync across all my devices and stay in the notifications until I manually dismiss them, each multiple times… my notification summaries become a messy mix of old, "overdue" reminders for tasks I had already completed & marked as complete on another device.

    I swear they used to sync across devices, but now, Reminders notifications just keep coming into my feed simultaneously on all devices (good), and stay untiI I manually acknowledge them everywhere (bad). I now receive so many outdated notifications that don't go away, and now, important reminders get drowned out. Each day, I'm finding Reminders to be less beneficial and more of a chore.

    Is this by design? A limitation of push notifications? A recent bug? Any insight is much appreciated

    All devices have iCloud Sync set to On, are connected to the internet, & are signed into the same Apple ID.

    M1 iMac, iPad Air 4, Apple Watch S7, iPhone 12 mini running the latest versions of their respective OS.

    Voice Memos Won't Fully Load

    In my Voice Memos I app I recorded a 2 hour long audio file. When I try to listen to it today it only plays until the 44:08 mark, which is where I think I stopped the recording and then proceeded later. Is there any way to listen to the rest of the file? Thank you.

    Apple ID Question

    I'm currently using my brother's apple id for the app store and iTunes and have been since I got my first apple product. I have my own apple id that I use for my iCloud back up, if I change my app store apple id, will I have to redownload all my apps? All my apps are mostly free, but would be tedious to redownload them given the insane amount of apps I have. Currently have an iPhone 11 running iOS 15.1. Please let me know, thanks in advance!

    Airpods disconnect from enclosed rack mounted Mac Mini. Is it possible to use a USB bluetooth antenna dongle to extend bluetooth signal outside of enclosure?

    I bought an A/V rack enclosure to house all of my equipment and it's causing interference to wifi and bluetooth when all the side panels are installed.

    I extended the routers antennas to outside the rack and I'm buying a kit to do the same for my PS4, but I didn't think of the Mac Mini because it's wired to the network and I use Rowmote as the trackpad and keyboard.

    I noticed that the AirPods kept cutting in and out when I installed the enclosure panels. They connect fine when I leave the panels off, but they will be on once the rack is complete.

    Is it possible to use a Bluetooth adapter like this to extend the bluetooth signal outside the rack?
