| I still don’t know what’s going on with my iPad Posted: 07 Nov 2021 10:33 PM PST It has service but it works like i'm underground. It connects to wifi perfectly but I don't have wifi lol. It dies really fast. Locked and covered with the case it still dies. I tried all the stupid shut downs, press this and this, factory reset, network reset, everything reset but still stuck on stupid. This started in the beginning of October and was on iOS 14. I updated it cause I thought that was the problem and still the same thing. It's a 7th generation if that means anything. | My macbook started playing a random song Posted: 07 Nov 2021 04:42 PM PST Hi so i'm very confused on what just happened, i was sleeping w my macbook closed and suddbenly i hear very loud music coming from my laptop. I wake up and log in to see the music playing but from nowhere? I'm scared because the music wasn't normal. It was like those meme songs u find on tiktok because it was talking abt fortnite and being gay? I had discord and spotify open and they were playing nothing (not joined any calls). | Posted: 07 Nov 2021 10:29 PM PST Hello, I need help with my notes app. I have two locked notes on there with important information. I originally locked them with FaceID and never had an issue. Until today. I tried to go unlock one of them and FaceID will not even pop up, it only asks for the password. I don't even remember setting one but I'm a creature of habit l so I used all my possible passwords to no such luck. Has anyone had this issue and was able to fix it? I tried to reset my notes password but I heard that it only applies to new notes and not old ones. If I lose those notes it's not the end of the world but it's quite frustrating. | Really Strange Battery Behavior on iPhone 13 Pro Posted: 07 Nov 2021 06:17 PM PST Hi everyone, I've posted about this before to no avail, but I've been using an iPhone 13 Pro since launch from my 11 Pro Max and have been severely disappointed with the battery life. I went from ending my days with over 50% left to killing the 13 Pro by bed time. This issue persisted from when I first got the phone on launch day up to a few days ago. About 6 weeks of use. I've contacted Apple support about the issue and they said the phone was fine. Then, a few days ago, the battery life was suddenly amazing. I've been ending every day for the past few days with over 50% left. Might even be better than the 11 Pro Max. Is there anything that can explain this? My usage hasn't changed, most of my SOT is mostly spent browsing Safari and Reddit. Looking at the battery usage, it seems like the Reddit app is using way less power than before, but there hasn't been any updates to the app recently. I'm really scratching my head over this because I don't know what I would do if something changed again and the battery became terrible again. Do I need to boot in Recovery mode and merge the parititions? Or clean my HD from scratch and after a backup restore the whole system onto 2 partitions? Your guidance is truly appreciated. I used to do this back when it was the iPod Touch up until like iPhone 5 I think? And it always for some reason factory resetted my device when I connected it to another computer. I've been refraining from doing that ever since and now I want to know if it still does that before I make my move... So here I am asking for help if anyone knows the answer. | Airpods Max loose sound on one side Posted: 07 Nov 2021 05:27 PM PST For the last couple of days my AirPods max (around 2-3 months old) have frequently lost sound on the right side. Along with this I've had trouble connecting them. It takes about 3-4 times for them to connect and play music. Ive reseted them several times but the issues continue. | Why does my iPhone keep switching back to 4g when there is 5g available Posted: 07 Nov 2021 04:50 PM PST I have an iPhone 12 Pro and even tho there is 5g available in my area it switches to 4g every hour or so and then I have to restart my iPhone to get it back on 5g again. | Unable to restore iPad Disabled, it’s not recognized once connected to the computer. Posted: 07 Nov 2021 08:08 PM PST Recently changed my passcode for my iPad Pro 11 inch. I didn't used it for like two weeks and forgot the passcode. The iPad got disabled. Got it in restore mode, and plugged the cable to both iPad and HP computer with iTunes open. But it was never recognized by the computer. I tried a different cable (USB C to USB 3.0) and didn't work. Tried the procedure in many different orders, didn't work. I have a Mac, but recently updated to MacOS Monterey, and it's not compatible with any iTunes version, therefore I'm unable to try with my Mac. Called Apple support, and they asked me to wait, and they just hung up on me 😖. Any advice? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 07 Nov 2021 07:00 PM PST I recently got an iPhone 13 Pro. I have been having bugs ever since that I just cannot seem to fix and they all are related. It all starts with a bug that makes me have no space on my phone due to it being maxed out by system storage. Over 100+ GB of supposed system storage. I found that connecting the phone to my pc and backing up through iTunes should fix the trick. When I do this my phone struggles to connect or be recognized by iTunes. Once I get lucky and get my phone recognized I try to back up the phone but it never does. I never get an error message but I know it is because the drive on my pc that iTunes is backing up on is full. But now another bug occurs. My phone goes black with a spinning wheel of death that is frozen on the screen not even moving. I try the force restart and once it restarts it seems fine till I put in my password then the same thing happens. I have tried leaving my phone on the spinning wheel of death and soon enough the screen goes pink for a bit and restarts. It then asks for a password and once inputted it goes back to the spinning wheel of death. I think this is because there is not enough room to load firmware upon powering on. I am really unsure of what to do and need my phone due to being a college student. I don't really have time to take it into the apple store near me either. Any help or suggestions? | Got a unique situation with "iPhone is disabled," iPhone XS Max Posted: 07 Nov 2021 12:55 PM PST so I connected my phone to my itunes authorized PC and it says "There's a problem with your device 'My iPhone' that requires it to be updated or restored." I see that I see something along the lines of itunes is attempting to contact the server or something like that. Does my computer need to establish connection or does my phone need to establish the connection with the network as well? Now I'm currently in a foreign country and I've got no SIM card in there at all, I'm using my SIM locked iPhone 13 for the time being. I do have a local SIM for my unlocked XS Max but its not on my person to be able to get it, I can go home at the end of the night to grab it. Would I need to put the SIM in my phone to be able to get the update done and phone accessible? Thank you in advance [link] [comments]  |
