| iPhone X is hot near camera and it’s draining battery Posted: 07 Oct 2021 07:18 AM PDT I'm sorry if this post has some errors, this is my first Reddit post ever, I just don't know where else to go. In the last few days my phone has been hot near the camera and the battery has been draining pretty fast. The hot temperature persists no matter which app I'm using and even when I leave it alone in locked, it still gets hot. The only way to cool it is to turn the phone off, but when I turn it on it gets hot again. I've also been having to charge my phone a lot more because the battery is lasting for about an hour. I've looked this up online and tried to solve it by myself but nothing seems to work. I have turned the phone off, waited and then turned it back on; I've turned off background app refresh, Bluetooth and Airdrop; played around with other settings like brightness and battery; updated to the latest version (IOS 15.0.1); finally I decided to reset all my settings, but nothing seems to have worked. Since I did a reset and the phone is hot near the camera, now I can't set up FaceID until the phone cools down, I'm getting very frustrated. While writing this the phone has gotten very slow, the first time this has happened, I don't know what to do, please help. [link] [comments]  |
