    Delay in receiving voicemails?

    I have an iPhone7 Plus. I used to have T-Mobile as my phone carrier; now I use Ting. I had / have this problem with both carriers - I get a call, I don't answer it, I KNOW the caller left a voicemail, but I might not get the voicemail for hours or even days later. Sometimes they appear in the Voicemail tab of the Phone app right away and other times it takes forever for them to appear. I haven't noticed any rhyme or reason to why or when they eventually show up. Anyone else experience this?

    spilled small amount of lemonade on my phone, a tiny amount of it touched my lower volume button.

    • the button doesn't make a characteristic click anymore (not the sound effect the phone makes, but an actual click).
    • not sure if this changes anything but the lemonade was water, ice, and lemonade powder mixed together instead of normal lemonade.

    Anyone know what is happening to the screen? This is an iPhone 5s running iOS 12.5.4 though it doesn’t look like a software issue. I very recently used it for a call and was very sweaty while taking it I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

    Call Diversion for Iphone

    Is there an app that allows call diversion during certain hours for iPhone? For example, I want to forward phone calls that are unanswered to another employee in my office Mon-Fri between 8:30-5. However, I do not want to have to turn call forwarding on and off every day. Is there an app for this?

    iMessage Help

    I dont know if this is the correct subreddit to post this, but I was texting someone through iMessage and it said "delivered", but a day later or something, there was no more "delivered". I dont know if that makes sense or not, but does that mean that this person blocked me or?

    Not getting notifications from the mail app

    I have never used my iCloud for emails. But recently I have switched over since I have an many Apple devices now. However, I've noticed quick that I don't get notifications.

    I have notifications on, I have "push" on, and it's on for background refresh. What else should I do?

    Icloud or Backup

    My icloud is full, and the photos and backups are the problem.

    I think the photos are included in backups

    so do i have to turn both of them on?

    or can i just turn off the photos in the backup?

    Hi. I'm wondering what brand of phone to get next, but I'm a paranoid lunatic obsessed with privacy and the thought of big corporations being able to look at (for example) photos I take of my house, family, etc, makes me intensely uncomfortable.

    I know they probably don't care about me personally, but big data collection is real and I don't want to be a part of it.

    How to find out old number from old texts?

    Hi I was wondering if there's any way to find out what number I was using from old texts. I have some texts in my phone (iphone 11 pro max) that are like 3 years old and have been transferred from old phones, but I forgot what number I had when I sent those old texts. Is there any way I can find out what was my old number?

    Just to be clear, I'm not asking about how to get my old text history, I already have those texts. I'm just wondering if there's any way to see which number I was using when I sent those old texts. Thanks.

    Factory reset Xr ?

    I upgraded my phone and now wish to reset my old phone back to factory for my son to have it but have 1 issue, it's been years since I created my apple ID and have never needed it for anything so it is long forgotten. I had to create a new AppleID on the new phone... argh !

    I contacted Apple, went through all their steps, gave them all the information, verified the email, etc etc and all I got was a "we will email or text you in a few days ......" which is no help at all considering I have far and above verified that I am the account owner and just want to reset the phone (which somehow needs my apple ID / password to do)

    Is there a trustworthy program out there that can just factory reset the phone for me even though I do not have the password for the AppleID ?

    Voicemail non-existant?

    I can't find a way to set up my voicemail. There are no voicemail options under settings>phone, and the in app screen just looks like this.

    When I call the voicemail and put in the mailbox # (supposedly same as phone #) it says no mailbox exists.

    Accessing WhatsApp group chats after switching phones.

    Hi there,

    I recently switched from an Android to an iPhone (kept the same phone number). I'm very well aware that there are not any free methods of being able to transfer the WhatsApp chats from an android to an iPhone without some sort of paid 3rd party app. However, is there a way to access the group chats that I was in? For example, I had a family chat on WhatsApp on my android...I can't see the chat now on my iPhone. What do I do to be able to use the chat again? Do I need to ask the group's admin to remove me and then add me back in for me to get a notification on my iPhone for this group chat?

    How to fix sped up iPhone audio?

    I have no clue how this has happened or how to fix it, but the sound/audio across my iPhone entirely has been sped up. Whether it's apple music, soundcloud, youtube, videos on instagram; all of the audio is slightly sped up and the seconds literally turn quicker as in usually it's like "0… 1… 2" but now it's "0.. 1.. 2". It's not limited to any one app or type of app, it's everything.

    It's super, super frustrating. Everything is at like x1.15 speed and nothing sounds right. I've went into settings and tried fixing it there, but there's nothing. I've tried hard restarting it, nothing. It's an iPhone 11 Pro if that helps. And yes I have dropped it before (in the case) but it's been a week or two since the last time it's taken any hits at all. Does anyone know how to fix this? Or am I just screwed?

    Missing keyboard in group chat

    The keyboard and text entry bar are missing on one of my group chats. It only happens on a group chat with all of the four other people, individual messages and other group chats including some members of the problematic chat have no issue.

    One person on the chat recently switched from android to an iPhone, there may be older messages from when he still had his Samsung phone.

    I'm running iOS 14.7.1 on an iPhone 12.

    iPhone 12 Hotspot

    Why is my personal hotspot speed so slow on this device? I upgrade a little over a week ago, but didn't change my phone's plan. My iPhone 8 Plus was getting probably 20mbs, but this phone is <1mbs.

    It's just kind of annoying to have that notification pop up every 15 minutes, on a few occasions my volume just dropped with no warning.

    It's just kind of annoying but I suppose it's a non issue.
