    Had a very weird and unfortunate situation with someone that ended in threats and made me and my family feel unsafe. I've blocked this individual on everything but I was already in a group message with him before. I can't see his messages but I just saw someone responding to a question out of thin air so I know he's messaging in it. I really want to create as much space from this person as possible but I'm afraid that even seeing me leave the group my fuel his fire and do something in the shadows to harm or hurt me or my close ones

    Iphone front mic not working while recording a video

    So basically i have an iphone 7 running ios 14.6 and whenever i record a video on camera Only the back microphone is working but when i record a video on snapchat or any other third party apps all of the microphones work perfectly fine except whatsapp also I tried restarting and reseting the phone and nothing worked Is there a solution for me?

    PHOTOS LOST

    PLEASE HELP ME! I AM PANICKING!

    Because my iPhone was crashing, running out of storage, lagging, along with its battery running out quickly, I decided to factory reset my phone.

    YES, I did back up my phone before resetting it.

    THE PROBLEM is that most of my photos disappeared. I do have iCloud photos turned on. My family uses the same iCloud account, which is why our family sees each other's photos. We have photos dating back to 2002. But when I checked on my Photos app, there were only photos from 2018 onwards.

    Right after I restored to a back up of my phone, I checked the Messages and Photos apps. The Messages only took 30 minutes to return to their original state. I assumed the same thing would happen with my photos, but with a longer period.

    It said that it was uploading (blank) of 100,000 photos, which is correct, but I don't understand why it has stopped uploading at 40,000 (it didn't say 40,000 of 100,000. It acted as if the upload was finished.) Have I lost all my photos? What can I do to get it back? PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE I DIE.

    The PEOPLE part of the photo app is scaring me. The faces are all different than they are on my family member's phones. It said to scan the remaining 40,000 photos by locking the phone. DOES THAT MEAN THAT I ONLY HAVE 40,000 PHOTOS AND THE REMAINING PHOTOS WILL NOT BE UPDATED????

    I have the newest version of iPhone SE. I am currently on IOS 14.7.1. Even in Settings > General > About > it says I have 40,000 photos. Will the photos return?

    I have back uped my phone and reset my phone in the past. Do you think I will get the remaining 60,000 photos? Please help.

    iPhone battery

    Fun fact: iPhones cannot overcharge as there's a protection circuit just like every other device. Also, keeping your iPhone at 100% absolutely does no harm to the battery whatsoever. I have been able to check a school Chromebook's battery health. I believe that the Chromebook's battery is over 3 years old and it has been plugged in to 100% most of the time. It says it's at 92% which is still fantastic if it's an old battery. I have had my iPhone 11 plugged in almost all the time and didn't notice any battery health degrading fast. Not much people understand this, but an iPhone or any electronic battery can't be overcharged and that 92% is from people using the Chromebook battery and using up its charge cycles. Most rechargeable batteries have only 400-500 complete charge cycles before it goes down to 80%.

    iPhone Calls

    I've been having an issue where whenever I receive calls my phone either won't stop vibrating, will make a weird banging noise or just won't do anything. At this point I don't know if it's an issue with the phone or the carrier. Has anyone had a similar issue? Please help!

    Help bypassing activationon iPhone 7 No imei baseband problem

    Hey Guys, I got these couple of iphone 7 on ebay auction. Only figured out once I receive them.

    So, all of them are icloud unlocked and network unlocked.

    However, they dont have imei number and there is either no service and/or searching bar in the network section.

    Tried activating but either I get unable to activate, update to activate or unable to connect to apple servers.

    Googled and youtube most of them links to baseband chip problems which can only be solved via chip repair. My question is there anyway I can bypass the activation/setup screen. At least I could use it as a ipod.

    Looked up heaps and all I find are dodgy icloud locked activation bypass.

    Please help

    SMS sent from phone I didn’t send (nor see from my side)

    Is it possible for lines to get crossed with SMS?

    My partner and his mom both have iPhone. He showed me screen captures from both of their phones to see their convo.

    There was 3 SMS messages sent from his phone number to hers, but he could not see them on his phone so he was confused by her reply as she thought it was him that sent them

    They were pretty precise about looking for a cottage to buy for somebody

    Sync issues

    I have an iPhone 12 and a late-14 MacBook Pro, and I have been having some very frustrating issues when trying to sync. For one, my phone only sporadically appears in the Finder when on wifi, so I mainly have to sync by manually plugging the phone into my MBP.

    And that's where a host of other issues pop up. When I connect it manually, the phone will sometimes disconnect and reconnect constantly, even when I'm not touching it. Sometimes the sync will be canceled with an alert message saying something to the effect of "Carrier settings could not be found, the phone has been disconnected." There's no rhyme or reason to any of it. The only way to solve it is to reboot my computer, and even that isn't guaranteed to work.

    Is my phone possessed or something? Do I need to offer a sacrifice to the Machine God? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Can’t drag photos on Recents album anymore

    Why is this and how do i fix it? I used to be able to drag and reorder photos on Recents album just days ago. But after i created a new album and added two albums within it for app icons and wallpapers, i can't drag photos on Recents anymore. I can drag photos on the new album however.

    Couple questions about low power mode:

    Device: iPhone 7 Plus

    • Does it damage the battery in anyway?
    • Do you recommend having it on at all times or only turn it on when the battery reaches say 30%?
    • Does it affect Battery Capacity? I currently am at 85% and on iOS 15 Beta 5. Battery life was better on iOS 14.7.1 so i don't want to damage it or lessen the capacity even further.

    Field Test Mode Not Displaying Certain Info

    I'm trying to measure the RSRP and SINR levels of my cellular signal but when I enter field test mode on my phone, I'm greeted with a limited list of options (screenshot). From what I've read, I should see an option entitled "Serving Cell Meas" but it's not appearing. I have an iPhone 12 Pro from Verizon. If anyone knows how I can access the "Serving Cell Meas" menu option I'd really appreciate some help! Thanks.

    screen burn in? i don’t know

    age: ~6-7 months

    ok so i know whatever is happening happened today. i had google hangouts opened with hulu with picture in picture, and my brightness has been at 25% all day. when i went to my home screen i could see a faint keyboard and the outline of where hulu was pip, but i only see it on the home screen? i don't see it anywhere other than the home screen. i am very confused and help would be nice

    Is there a way to recover a voice memo deleted months ago?

    To keep the long story short, i had a voice memo of someone verbally abusing their child. I deleted it because I thought I had sent it and was clearing a bunch of storage off my phone. Now i need that proof and I have no idea how to or if i even can recover that voice memo, can someone please help?

    Hello.

    How do I force an iPhone 12 (mini) to force entering its passcode instead of its face ID? In old 6 +, I just press the right side button five times to force it to use passcode and temporarily disable its touch ID until after I successfully enter my passcode. This trick doesn't seem to work in my new 12 mini. :(

    I unblocked someone yesterday on my iPhone and today I received an SMS text message (not imessage) from them.

    Will they know I unblocked them on my iPhone? If so, how?

    Would they have even knew I blocked them in the first place?

    I'm outside a lot so I keep my brightness at 100% except when at night. Ever sense I got a new phone a couple months back ( 12 pro max) my brightness goes to 50% every time I turn my phone on. I have auto brightness, True Tone, night shift all turned off
