    Clicked on a spam link in a text message, am I doomed?

    Have been expecting a package to arrive and received a text message saying, "Your order has shipped" and then a link to track the order. I clicked on it, thinking it was an update on that order, but it took me to some kind of spam web site.

    I closed the site immediately and didn't enter any info, nor did it ask me to download or install anything.

    I suspect everything is fine, but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything potentially dangerous.

    Seeing monthly data usage

    It seems to only show the usage since the first day of use which is so incredibly useless.

    Please, tell me that you are not supposed to reset the data each month or actually downloading an app that succeeds in this strenuous mission

    Why is it that you don’t get the charge level displayed with raise to wake but get it in all the other methods that wakes the display? While charging of course.

    I have purchased a new phone and I am going to restore it to my old phone's backup. I backed up my old phone when it was on iOS 13. When I restore to the backup will it be running iOS 13 or 14?

    Day/Night wallpaper in Dark Mode only?

    Hi guys,

    I´m running iOS 15 beta (not sure if relevant) and I would like to set my lockscreen wallpaper to the day/night versions that automatically changes. The thing is, I am using dark mode only (how can you not?) and I get only the night mode version available. It is possible on MacOS, so am I missing something, or it's just not possible?

    Can’t activate iMessage and FaceTime

    Hi everyone,

    I've been using iMessage and FaceTime without any issue until I install iOS 15 on my old iPhone. Since then, my main iPhone can't activate iMessage and FaceTime for my cell number. Apple account email is working on both services.

    It's been more than 5 days now. Tried everything located on Apple's website. Anyone has a solution?

    Help! So basically for some reason when I go to the app store and search for something nothing comes up besides an ad but when I logout and search for like google it pops up with other apps. Is there something wrong with my apple ID?

    iPhone seems to be uploading the photos to icloud, and also the photo library as a backup in icloud, and was wondering if the photo library backup is necessary if I already have iCloud photos turned on?

    New U.S. Bill Would Require Companies Like Apple, Google to Give up App Store Power; Open up Sideloading, More

    A new bipartisan antitrust bill was introduced today by senators Richard Blumenthal, Marsha Blackburn, and Amy Klobuchar, and it targets Apple and Google, along with the power they wield on their app stores. If the bill passes, then Apple and Google would have to support third-party payments options and other changes, which have been discussed at length here.

    U.S. Senators Believe Apple and Google Have an 'Ironclad' Grip and Consumers Are Being Kept in the Dark

    The terms of the bill state that any company whose app store controls more than 50 million users, such as Apple and Google, would not require developers to use its own payment systems. Additionally, these developers would be allowed to distribute their apps to alternative app stores. Senator Blackburn says that Apple's and Google's practices discourage a fair marketplace.

    iOS Notifications Widget (would love to have one)

    One of my main gripes with iOS (after switching back and forth from Android) is that I cant have notification icons at a glance like on Androids status bar. I understand not everybody likes this, but if Apple offered a widget that simply displayed icons of the apps that have unread notifications it would appease us that do. Maybe iOS 16…

    Don’t receive notifications on twitter ios 14.7.1

    I have turned on tweet notifications for an account but I receive no notifications from twitter when the account tweets, I only got a notification once when the account retweeted something. I've checked push notification settings on Twitter and they are on, account notifications are also on for all tweets and lastly in phone settings notifications are also on for twitter.. any help?

    iPhone mic not working

    I'm trying to find the problem where an iPhone 7 plus' microphone is not working at all. No applications will utilize the mic, including cellular calls. Voice memos won't start recording, audio imessages won't start recording, videos will have no audio (not even the sound button can be toggled), along with quiet cellular calls on both ends with the speaker phone icon that can't be toggled either. I've updated the phone, even reset the settings and haven't fixed it.
