    I have to plug and unplug multiple times. Podcasts are also not working since update.

    I installed a new podcasts app, will try tomorrow.

    My 12 Pro Max keeps overheating...

    So not sure if this happens to anyone else but lately my 12 Pro Max keeps overheating and is hot in my hand and sometimes it overheats to the point where my display will start dimming.

    Now, some of the times it's because I'm outside and it is hot out (but not SUPER hot, like 80-85 degrees) but sometimes this is happening when I am indoors in air conditioning, so it leads me to believe that there is something else going on....

    buzzing sound

    hey, for the last week about 1-2 times randomly in the day my iphone 7 makes a weird buzzing distorted sound that lasts about 5 seconds, i'm not sure if it's coming out the speakers or not but if i had to guess i don't think it is, what could it be?

    Business project iPhone - how to protect my privacy?

    I will start using a phone that is not mine for a project.

    I am concerned with any feature iOS might have that would allow my team to obtain my location. Don't care about the mic and camera. Will toss it in the car's trunk outside of business hours.

    I signed out of Apple ID and checked everything I could under Settings, Privacy.

    Can individual apps give away my location from my being connect to my own WiFi (IP address)?

    I also turned off the cell and Bluetooth radios and will only be using WiFi.

    Anything else?

    Wireless charger for water damaged port?

    Got an alert saying water was detected in my iPhone 11 port while I was on 1%, phone died now it's unable to charge. Would I be able to charge it using a wireless charger? It's still showing the insert charger symbol just won't charge

    When i charge my iphone a white screen with the apple logo comes up for about 5 seconds followed by a black screen with a small buffering circle in the middle for about 5 seconds and then repeats, please any help would be much appreciated!

    The title is pretty self explanatory. Whenever I download a new app, it won't appear in my home screen.

    Edit; I figured out a way to get it too my home screen, but it won't appear by itself.

    Do Not Disturb mode not working right?

    I have my iPhone 11 Pro Max's do not disturb setting set to silence all notifications completely whether locked or unlocked, as well as receiving calls set to 'no one', yet when I do have it on and locked, notifications from apps (Twitter tweets, etc.) still show up on the Lock Screen. I thought the point of this feature was to silence notifications completely off the screen. Is that supposed to happen, or is there something problematic here? I also just had my iPhone reset completely recently.

    Specific Notification Alerts

    Hello!! I'm not sure if this is the right place to go, but I've searched and searched and can't seem to find an answer to my question

    • I am wondering if there is an app, or setting where I can make it so I get an extra, or persistent notification for a specific word when it shows up in my notification banner/Lock Screen?

    For example, I use telegram a lot for Amazon deal groups and other types of discount groups etc. I am wondering how I could filter a specific word so I always get an extra notification when something is "Free". (Like when the word FREE pops up, my phone will alert me)

    I know I could just simply check the notifications but I literally get 100's during the day/night, and I don't have time to check them all, and like most, I really enjoy getting free things😉 so if anyone could help me out on this, that would be AWESOME!

    iPhone 12 battery draining really fast

    When I first got my phone, it used to be able to run most of the day gaming and browsing reddit just fine, but lately, i noticed that browsing reddit will completely drain my battery in 2 hours. current capacity at 89. it is the normal iphone 12. i dont use sound. i do have an apple watch connected if that changes anything. any help would be greatly appreciated!

    iPhone SE 2020 Not Receiving Emergency Alerts

    I live in rural California, and my iPhone SE 2020 stopped receiving emergency alerts.

    I have chatted with Verizon Support and have done the following:

    • Spent too much time talking with Verizon customer service without getting a resolution.
    • Double checked that all of the alerts are on in Settings>Notifications>Government Alerts. AMBER Alerts, Public Safety Alerts, Emergency Alerts, and Always Deliver are toggled on.
    • My phone IS NOT in Airplane Mode.
    • My e911 address is correct.
    • I am receiving other alerts, like Twitter, messages, and missed phone calls.
    • I have sufficient LTE and WiFi coverage in my home.
    • I have reset the phone and network settings.

    Unfortunately, it's not like you can check if this works immediately. You have to wait for an alert.

    Now, here's where it gets bizarre.

    I have an old iPhone 6S that was my previous phone. I use it for music and audiobooks because it has a headphone jack. The 6S does not have a SIM card and is connected to my home WiFi. (My SE is also connected to the same WiFi when I'm at home.)

    My old phone IS receiving emergency alerts.

    The phones were sitting right next to one another when several of the alerts sounded.

    Currently, there are wildfires in the area that have generated evacuation notices for the surrounding area, and I've been alerted to the evacuations through the Emergency Alert System on my old iPhone 6S. But I really need to get these working on the phone I carry with me all the time.

    Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    “SIM card not installed”

    My phone won't allow me to make calls or texts anymore and it's because it says "SIM card not installed" I read what Apple said on their website about it but it's still not working. I don't have the SIM card removal tool. Can someone help me out?

    Title pretty much explains it. I dropped my iPhone and it reset on impact. It's on now and everything seems to be fine but is it possible there is internal damage? Or am I just being paranoid?

    instagram on iphone 7

    hi, i have problem with instagram. i fully reseted my iphone today and i just downloaded instagram and it seems that its few versions down, but when i go to check which version i have its the newest one. i dont have any "new" features like chat wallpaper, instagram music etc. even tho i had it before i reseted my phone. when i go to app store i cant update it because its already updated

    No sim error iphone 10

    So i have no sim issue on iphone 10, everytime i eject the sim tray and reinsert it the sim works but for a day or two, after that it again shows no sim. How do i fix this I'm seriously going nuts. On YouTube they say bend the sim tray and it will work i did that too but same happens it works for a day or two after that again no sim. Any suggestions?

    New iOS 14.7 WiFi / App Store Bug?

    Am I going crazy or did this update break the App Store's ability to update apps over WiFi only? I have set "Always ask" to download app updates over cellular, and so now it's asking even when I'm on WiFi with the option to allow over cellular or wait until WiFi is available. Doesn't seem to help to restart or turn WiFi or cellular on/off, or quit the App Store app.

    Some apps refuse to work

    My iPhone 11 on the latest version(14.7) refuses to open some apps and just crashes them every time. I thought it was every app I downloaded but a lot work when I get them. A few that don't work are identity V, cookierun ovenbake, and sonic forces. What could cause this and is it a problem with my phone or the apps?

    My iPhone 7 home button activating from just touch

    My iPhone 7 home button is activated by just touching it. Like usually you have to press into it to have it registered, but now whenever I touch it even without pressing down on it, it registers that. I left me phone in the bathroom while i took a shower so the steam my guess. Is there any solution to fix this without going to get it repaired?
