| Battery Health Declining Below 94% Posted: 27 Jun 2021 12:18 AM PDT So about 7 months ago, I purchased an IPhone 12 straight from the Apple store. I've been using it daily, and noticed that the battery health has gone down to 94%. Is this normal? I read online that iPhone tend not to go below 95% health during the first year of use. I've been using a lot of 5G so could that have affected the battery health? I'm just not sure if this is normal. [link] [comments]  |
| Brand new SE stuck in boot loop? Posted: 27 Jun 2021 12:50 AM PDT So I bought an unlocked iPhone SE (2021) from a nearby Target and when I brought it home I realized it was stuck in a boot loop and it doesn't want to restore itself through my MacBook. As soon as I press Upgrade & Restore, it "disconnects" itself from the "iPhone" listed on my Mac. Whenever it does manage to go past the Upgrade & Restore button, I get error 2006. Does anyone know why this is happening or how I could fix this? [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 26 Jun 2021 08:22 PM PDT I got an iPhone XR almost 2 years ago and it worked great until a couple months ago. Every time an app crashed, most often YouTube, none of my downloaded apps would be available (they would keep crashing too) for the next 20-40 minutes. I haven't downloaded anything suspicious or gone on any weird websites. I factory reset my phone and manually downloaded all of my apps that I needed. This did not solve the problem. I called apple and they said it was a hardware issue and I had to get a new phone. I did because it made sense and my new iPhone 12 has the same issue. Clearly it is not hardware and must be something that has infected my iCloud. Any ideas on how to solve it? [link] [comments]  |

I started using the reminders app more extensively recently (I've used in the past with no issues, took a break, now I'm back to it). The issue is I have several overdue reminders but the app badge only shows "1" despite there being many. My iPad shows the correct number of overdue reminds. I've tried deleting the app and redos loading it, hard resetting, and going to my iCloud account and turning off and on reminders. Still nothing. Any help is appreciated [link] [comments]  |

My iPhone got wet yesterday after water got into my waterproof case. It died and when I tried to turn it on after charging it started flashing green and then turned off completely. I put it in a bag of rice overnight and it turned on briefly this morning but hasn't since. I'm trying to charge it and the back feels warm so I feel like somethings happening but my computer won't recognize it. I really just need to back it up. If anyone has any suggestions let me know!! | Posted: 26 Jun 2021 05:11 PM PDT Hello. I just did a screen recording of a facetime I did with my niece but realized after recording that "record audio" was not on. My video does not have the audio recorded. Is there a way to turn the audio on after you've already created the video with the audio off? I've already gone in and turned on audio record. I'm so sad because it was a video of me saying "i love you" and she said it back but when recording it was off so all i have is the video with no audio now. sigh Thanks for time and help! Country of purchase: USA As said, the camera sucks. The back camera makes everything yellowy and is all stuffy and just isn't as clear as I'd expect it to be. The front camera is super stuffy and makes everything pink-ish. Like, compared to my previous iPhone, the 6s+, it's just not clear. My 6s+ is clearer. Is there any way to fix this at home? I know my parents spent some cash on this and the reason they did is so I'd have a good camera for when we went on vacation. I'm really bummed out by this. [link] [comments]  |

I also work in a tech department of a company which gives users iphones and users come to me for replacements all the time due to the same fault I described. What shall we do about this? | Posted: 26 Jun 2021 09:09 AM PDT I recently got an iPhone XR and I had to move all my data to my new phone from my old one. The issue is that when I moved all of the apps to my new phone, one of the apps that I had photos saved on was deleted from the App Store. So now the data is still there in my phone, I just can't get to it or re-download the app. I've also seen the data recovery apps on computer, but they are all expensive and I want to know if there are any other ways to do it first. | Problems with Image Capture after Big Sur update Posted: 26 Jun 2021 06:21 AM PDT Problems with Image Capture after Big Sur update I can no longer transfer photos and videos from my mobile (iPhone SE 2020, iOS 14.6) to my MacBook Pro (Late 2013, Big Sur, 11.4) – either the program says my mobile is locked (it is not + I have pressed "Trust this computer") or the pictures will never come up (even though I've waited for a very long time). It does not help to restart the devices or reset Location & Privacy. I do not use iCloud Photos nor do I want to use the Photos app or Google Photos for import. I can not find other solutions at the moment on the Internet. Do you know a solution or an alternative app for transferring media? Is there possibly something to do in Terminal? Posted: 26 Jun 2021 11:28 AM PDT So I have a iPhone 11 Pro Max running IOS 14.6, when I first got it (don't rember exact date but I got it not long after it came out, because my old one died after a update) I had no problems but after about a month I can't get a good signal in my town. I live i a rural area but no one else in my home has a problem with cellular data. (There all Android users if that's important). But for some reason my phone will drop calls and won't let me use cellular data at all, sometimes at night but never during the day. Which my local internet sucks so I like to use a personal hotspot when I want something downloaded faster. Now the closest other town to me is about a 6 minute drive and I get perfect reception there. Originally I thought it was just a issue of maybe me being close to a out of service area. But everyone else in my house can use there data without a problem, and we are all on the same plan so if I'm having problems you think they would too. My old IPhone had this issue as well but my current phone seemed to work fine for about a month. I tryed a hard reset, I reset the network settings, I tryed going to different spots in town and testing to see if it worked but all the no avail. So I guess what I'm asking is if anyone has any idea how I can fix this or even what's causing it, or is there anything I can buy to boost my phones signal if that's the issue. Thanks in advance!
