| iPhone 11 Pro Max - Genshin Impact FPS Test. A13 Bionic is Still a Beast!! Posted: 17 Jun 2021 12:21 PM PDT So after many requests, I finally was able to retest the iPhone 11 Pro Max with Genshin Impact. I tested for 11 minutes and put all settings to Max. For FPS, I averaged 56.7 FPS. Throttling started around 8 minutes but picked back up around the 10 minute mark. This is pretty impressive as this SOC is almost two years old and beats many of my android phones with the latest snapdragon 888 SOC. Nevertheless, as for CPU, CPU usage is 28.2% which is not surprising due to Genshin Impact being more of a GPU heavy application. Moving on to GPU, GPU usage was only 87.3% average which was very interesting! The iPhone 12 Pro Max uses about 86% GPU usage average in Genshin Impact at max settings. This means for this game, the A13 Bionic isn't to far behind the A14 Bionic chip! However, where the A14 dominates is power efficiency. We will talk about that in a second. As for power consumption, this device averaged 5 watts of power which is normal for iPhones but very low for android devices (except Samsung devices). This is a very good power consumption. Last, as for battery and device thermals, this device averaged 38.4C and peaked up to 41C which is quite high! The iPhone 12 Pro Max typically averages around 28 to 30c and peaks 35c. However, I must note, the iPhone 11 PM didn't feel too hot or unbearable to hold after playing for 11 minutes. Thanks for reading, I hope this information is useful for those interested. | RPG where your character can wield guns? Posted: 17 Jun 2021 09:18 AM PDT I'm looking for a rpg where your character can use guns in a fantasy type setting, maybe even dual wield. There can be swords and other weapons but I would like the Choice of using guns as well. I started dragon raja a few days ago but it's a little overwhelming. | Top 5 Mobile Games Like Pokémon (+3 Honorable Mentions) Posted: 16 Jun 2021 05:32 PM PDT I love the "monster collecting/taming" genre so much. It may be due to growing up in the 90's during the birth of Pokémon in the states. Unfortunately, I haven't really enjoyed the latest releases of Pokémon on the 3DS and Nintendo switch as much as I would have liked to. That has caused me to be on the lookout for great games like Pokémon, especially if they are available on mobile. I've compiled a list of the top 5 mobile games like Pokémon that I have found to date. I hope it helps others find a game to scratch that nostalgic itch that I was trying to scratch in the past! | Please recommend games with high replay ability. Posted: 16 Jun 2021 05:00 PM PDT Hey all, Basically games just like Slay the Spire. I don't mean they have to be card games, but usually anything procedural generated and rogue-like/lites do very well with replay value. I have 500 hours logged into StS and while absolutely love it, I just wish there were more games that kept me interested for that long. There are so many games I really want to like but just can't, usually because the port or controls don't work well. Dead Cells is incredible, but I prefer to use touch controls since carrying around a controller doesn't work well for me. Death Road to Canada is another favorite of mine with 250-300 hours easily logged. Any recommendations would be highly appreciated, thanks all!
