    As the title says, there are times I've recommended an app to someone and been asked how much it costs, to which I have no response. Browsing to the app in the App Store does not display the price since I've already purchased it, it usually takes me a few minutes to get the information.

    I accidentally requested a refund from a mobile game purchase. How do I cancel it?

    There's a mobile game I usually play but the purchase took half a week to register and in a half asleep haze I accidentally asked for a refund through apple. The thing is the app might ban me for this. How do I cancel a refund when it's pending?

    MacBook 16” 2019 not turning on

    So a strange thing happened today , I woke up and tried to switch on the Mac but it's unresponsive nothing is happening. Yesterday night before going to sleep it was working fine but now suddenly it's not turning on. Any help would be appreciated 🙏

    Cannot sync my iPhone, iTunes is stuck on "Waiting for sync to start" - why?

    iPhone Xs, iOS 14.6 Mid-2012 rMBP, macOS Mojave 10.14.6, iTunes 12.9.5.5

    (I'm still on Mohave because I have some old games that will never get a 64-bit update and I don't want to lose 32-bit compatibility. App Store doesn't have a newer version of iTunes so I think this is the latest version of iTunes available.)

    I was able to successfully sync yesterday to add some new albums I downloaded to my iPhone. However today, I wanted to sync again after fixing a bunch of song metadata, and now iTunes won't sync. When I plug in my iPhone, iTunes recognizes it, I get the device summary screen and there's a spinning transfer icon in the left column of iTunes, but the status window at the top of iTunes just says "Syncing iPhone (Step 1 of 5) / Waiting for sync to start" with no other indication that it is doing anything. The Sync button is grayed out and unselectable, of course. I restarted my system but that didn't help, and since I restarted it has been sitting in this state for a couple of hours now. Any idea how I can troubleshoot or fix this, short of updating OSX? Thanks.

    iPadOS Bluetooth lag with Apple Magic Keyboard

    Hey everyone,

    I have an Apple Magic Keyboard paired with my iPad Air Gen 4 (iPadOS 14.6), and after I wake up my inactive iPad from Auto-Lock, the Bluetooth connection with the Magic Keyboard becomes very laggy to the point I have to physically turn off and on the Magic Keyboard. It doesn't matter if Auto-Lock is set at 2 minutes or 15 minutes; as soon as I wake up the inactive iPad the keyboard lag kicks in. Turning off and on the Bluetooth setting doesn't seem to fix the issue as well. I have also had this issue happen to my Magic Trackpad 2 that's paired with the same iPad but it's very rare. I'm wondering if anyone has/had this problem, and if this is an OS issue or hardware (iPad or accessories).

    I have an apple charger and laptop I tried using a different charger and laptop and computers Tried tenorshare and other sht Itunes DFU mode restore and recovery mode

    And I still get a f.cking error saying 4013 at the end

    I even took it to the apple store they tried fixing it and they told me that it isn't a software problem, it was like a hardware problem and also told me that I had to pay $200 to get another ipad or buy a ipad for $350

    There's like no hope to fix it I had done everything I could and they also told me that I had it for a year since may 1 2020 and it was like a warranty thing But I don't believe it much bc I had a apple logo loop glitch in November and fixed it BUT THIS TIME I F.CKING CAN'T

    What should I do now? I got itunes backup but now what's next Burn the iPad and break it to waste $350 for a new one! F.ck apple scam sh.t

    Alright sorry I had to get it off my chest but now a question is Should I open and like take out the battery hardware chip and put it back in just like it would work on android? Or idk Recommend something

    So I ordered a wireless number pad (link here - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CQBXVP6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and I was hoping there was some program for Mac OSX program that could take a single input from the number pad and spit out a more complex combination of keys. For instance if i press "1" on the num pad then the program filters that and spits out "^⌥p" (option + control + p). I'd like to do this for all the keys on the number pad.

    The bigger goal is that I would like to use this number pad to have one key short cuts to control my audio editing workstation on Ableton.

    Is it possible my mac has been compromised?

    I am using a macbook pro with High Sierra 10.13. I have always been watching movies from sketchy websites and same goes with pornography. These websites of course come with a lot of pop up ads. Pop up ads that my antivirus program (avast) tells me about and keeps me away from. But just today, I noticed a few things:

    1. The mail app has been opening randomly for some reason.
    2. I got an email to the email on the mail app (an email I don't use anymore) about my IRS account login attempts being unsuccessful using that unused email

    Could the pop ups from the sketchy websites have installed malware and/or given remote access? I know drive by downloads are a thing.

    Nothing else has been noticed so far in terms of other email accounts, social media, etc. And nothing has been downloaded and my storage is the same. Lastly, my antivirus scans from Avast and Malwarebytes have found zero direct threats.

    Should I be worried about a hack?

    iPhone X won’t swipe!

    Hello everyone! My iPhone X recently stopped letting me scroll on the home screen, and pull down from either top corner, and also it won't let me swipe up to access the home screen or to cycle apps. Those regions and the entire screen works fine for tapping or force touch, but I can't swipe. Scrolling on apps like Instagram (or Reddit) works at about a half-second delay. I can't screen record because of the problem with pulling down from the top corner. I can't think of any abnormal drops or water damage that would cause this, but I could be wrong. Any help is appreciated!!!

    iPad won't turn on after using Facebook Marketplace.

    Hello r/applehelp, I have a problem with my iPad and I thought I could use some help. I was browsing Facebook Marketplace with no issues when suddenly, my iPad turned off by itself. I tried holding down the power button and clicked the home button multiple times, but nothing seemed to work. I remember I had a similar issue where the app would suddenly stop and take me back to the lock screen. However, my iPad wouldn't turn on at all and I feel scared. Is there a solution?

    I am on Big Sur 11.4 on a base 2020 Macbook Air M1

    my main query is, I use coconut battery, but also used iStats menu for a brief period too and my battery health after only few days has dropped to as low as 98%, but it seems to fluctuate a lot and has since gone back up to 99.2%. Is this to be expected and normal given i am only gaming? I am worried the battery will age quickly or is faulty.

    Amazon have offered me a replacement so i think if it is an issue I should be okay to have a replacement sent out thankfully!

    Will fast charging with my MacBook power brick damage my battery

    So I just got the 12pro, and I was wondering if fast charging using my MacBook power brick (not sure of the wattage) by plugging the USB-C to lightning cable that came with my phone into the power brick will in any way damage or degrade my battery life, or harm my phone at all

    Leaving group messages when android users are in it.

    I have a few group chats that I would really like to leave. They have android users in them though so I can't click "leave convo". Is there another way to do this besides muting? Maybe an app or a way in settings that doesn't stop ALL group chats? Thanks
