- Um, is this new? I’m not on beta 2 yet.
- 14.6 B2 AirTag unable to gain strong enough connection to make use of the “find” UI where the arrow will guide you. The white blur in the circle is the AirTag, about 1 inch from the phone. Returned the AirTag and got a new one, same issue.
- Update weather app UI
- iMessage notifications not showing up
- Apps closing automatically?
- IOS 14.6 - Wallpaper not respecting Perspective Zoom: Off?

Posted: 09 May 2021 06:50 AM PDT All the Apple apps (Books/Podcasts/App Store/TV/…) have approximately the same UI but the weather app has kept the same old UI which I found out-of-date. Maybe iOS 15 will be the good release for that app ? My suggestions are : + to have app tabs like in the others apps + to run automation depending on the weather (when it rains at this location…) + to add a widget with different locations in it [share your suggestions in the comments] [link] [comments]
iMessage notifications not showing up Posted: 09 May 2021 11:15 AM PDT I recently updated to iOS 14.6 Beta 2, and my messages aren't showing up. I get the notification on my watch, I check my phone's lock screen, nothing shows up. I go to my homescreen, and there's still no notification icon badge, but when I go into the app, it shows that I have a message. Is there any way to fix this? I know I can restore my phone to iOS 14.5.1, but I don't want to lose my data [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 May 2021 06:48 PM PDT My apps keep closing by themselves, not crashing. When I reopen them it goes back to where I was usually. It's not a certain app, its all of them. Reddit, bank, Safari, iMessage, email, games. It's really frustrating. I erased my phone and restored from backup, it's happened less but still happens. I have an iPhone X, 1 running beta, 1 not. It was happening more often on the one not running beta, it happened before and after the most recent update. Any suggestions? [link] [comments]
IOS 14.6 - Wallpaper not respecting Perspective Zoom: Off? Posted: 08 May 2021 01:46 PM PDT I'm running iOS 14.6 (18F5055b) and I'm noticing that my wallpaper is moving more than it should (just changed to a different wallpaper, so I'm noticing it now). I've checked and Wallpaper > Perspective Zoom is set to Off. During the preview nothing moves, but as soon as I save the change my actual wallpaper continues to move. Attempted a restart and have the same problem. I can use "reduce motion" but I don't want to get rid of all motion effects, just the wallpaper. Can anyone else confirm?
