Posted: 02 May 2021 12:08 PM PDT Seriously, I've lost count of how many times I've seen people angry at Printer/Headphone management apps requesting access to location services. Besides that, I don't want every app which has access to Bluetooth/Wi-Fi to be able to use my GPS module, and, correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that granting an app access to location services is all or nothing - I'm pretty sure they can't just request access to Wi-Fi without accessing GPS. I appreciate that they figured users should be aware that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth can be used to track them, but in the end apps that aren't malicious in any way lose their users' trust, and the users themselves have no idea why they need to give apps' access to location services… [link] [comments]
Back up from 14.5 (18E199) to 14.5 General Release Posted: 02 May 2021 06:59 AM PDT I am using the beta through 14.5 and would like to remove the beta, reset my phone, download 14.5 general release and restore the back-up from the last 14.5 beta. Will this work or is the general release not comparable with the back-up from the equivalent beta? [link] [comments]

Was anyone able to update the firmware on their airpods with 14.6 beta 1/2? Posted: 01 May 2021 01:24 PM PDT I got one pair last week (airpods 2 w/wireless case), but I can t seem to factory reset them or update them. I tried with my iPad Air 3 and iPhone 12 mini. They are legit. Apple support recommended me to go to a service, but the closest one is a reseller 220km away lol. [link] [comments]
