    I'm one of those people who take privacy quit serious, (although as someone would say no one is interested in your photos and stuff but still) So I was thinking how come we can't allow an app to access 1 album/albums? So let's say I use Instagram or other app and I want that app to only access 1 album and I put all my new photos that I want to upload to that app without giving full access to photos or going under my old selection and adding the new photo in selected.

    iOS 14.5 (Started happening before 14.5.1.. 14.5.1. Update did not fix) iOS is breaking/corrupting photo library. Can't view any photos. And then when it finally does load, only loads about 150 out of 5000 pictures & says "Restoring from iCloud"... Never does.

    Hello, my friend's phone broke, so he wanted to use his sister's spare iPhone 6 Plus, the problem is, you cannot reset it without the apple id password. Is there anyway or bypassing it? And no, it's not stolen or anything.

    Just updated to 14.5.1 (on a 6S Plus). Now WiFi keeps turning itself off, apps are crashing, and anything that manages to work does so only very slowly. Anyone else having this problem?

    Any idea why my passwords got deleted? I signed out of my Apple ID since I wanted the new privacy feature to finally work(still doesn't work), but I don't know if it's because of that.

    Genuinely not a complaint but a conversation starter: Silly bugs like this reduce trust in apps and should be a very high priority. Interested to know what you think.

    Recently on the latest iOS 14.5.1 I notice that if I start listening to a podcast from a show I'm not following if I pause the podcast and then go to resume listening the podcast disappears and the latest one in my library plays. The paused podcast also doesn't appear in my recently played list.

    Anyone else experiencing this ?

    Can apps access geo location data when taking pictures?

    I thought about this.

    Apps can have a legitimate use for camera access but not for GPS, but is metadata included when taking a picture through the app, or does the iOS API's check if you allow location data access?

    This could seem like a pretty big oversight otherwise.

    Best way to setup dual sim?

    Hi there,

    I´m in the market for a new phone and as a long time android user I thought about going with IOS this time around. Since the Iphone 12 does not support traditional dual sim I thought about making it work with eSim but never used that so I am not sure if everything works as planned.

    I basically have 2 numbers that I want to continue using. An Irish one as my physical simcard used for calling & mobile data and a German one as my eSim for whatsapp, receiving calls froms family and work calls from German customers.

    Does that work without any problems or are there some weird limitations I am not thinking about? I guess I can choose one of the 2 sims for using mobile data but both of those are active for receiving calls?

    Is there an app that shows cell signal in dB and the exact type of network (UTMS/HSPA/LTE/LTE-A/etc)?

    Since updating to 14.5, I get this on messages sent from the share sheet. When I go into the messages app, I can successfully retry to send. I received the message from my watch a couple of times when sending an iMessage via Watch Siri.

    iPhone 12 has fully signal bars but no data (iOS14.5.1)

    Does anyone have the same issue with me, it happened last week Wednesday. My iPhone 12 pro can make phone calls, can send messages to other guys, but NO data. My data plan is unlimited. The signal bar is 5G, but no network.

    I tried everything, reset all settings, erase all data and contents, that does not work. I went to the T-mobile store, they replaced a new 5G SIM card for me, but it did not work. I went to the Apple store, they thought it is a hardware or antenna issue, they changed it but still not work. After that, they replaced a new phone for me, but the issue still not resolved. They told me it has to be the carrier problem. I went T-mobile again today, I do not know what they did on my phone, but finally, it was working, it can open websites on cellular data. But again, 1 hour ago when I was outside, the cellular data just suddenly disappeared. I tried to restart, reset all settings, it does not work.
