Has anyone tried the Latercase for the iPhone 12 (Pro Max)? Posted: 07 Mar 2021 08:54 AM PST The thing is so beautiful — but I'm worried about the actual drop protection (already using a screen protector and the Apple silicone case). [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Mar 2021 05:10 AM PST I believe that Apple's decision to move to m1 was done not only to increase performance and efficiency, which it undebatable did but also it was a step closer to bringing users to a seamless experience of having a full-fledged PC in their pockets. I think that in the next 5 years Apple will introduce a mode where your iPhone or iPad could be used as a full PC with all the features, kind of like the Samsung DeX, but in the apple fashion, better In the near future we will have all the apps adapted to ARM and they could be easily used on other ARM processors like on iPhones and iPads. The controversial redesign in Big Sur only proves my point, as it was done to unify the design across the platforms, making the transition smoother and adapting the users early on. Some monitors already support Airplay and it's just a matter of time when we will be able to connect our iPhones to a monitor via airplay, connect the keyboard and mouse and use the fully functional pc. Is it worth to assemple iphone from scratch? :P Posted: 07 Mar 2021 06:26 AM PST As subject says. Atm i'm studying and don't have much money to even buy aftermarket iphone se(which costs ~100$). Ofc buying 4s doesn't have any meaning in 2021. But it doesn't matter at all, since i think i'm able to assemble iphone from scratch, using analog parts from probably broken old iphones(i.e taking case from first, taking aux board(which drives vibro and etc) from second, icloud-free(not stolen) logic board might be bought from some other guy). I can really save ~50% money on used analog parts, and anyway, i'm not aware about "a bit worse display" or lack of touch id. Just wanna try apple ecosystem. So is it worth to try? I think i can assemble se in ~50$. [link] [comments]
