    My iPad was stolen a year ago. I blocked it, removed Apple Pay. Those are still on "deletion...". Although I saw the location somewhere, it eventually disappeared. I thought of removing the iPad from my devices list. It's a year, I think there isn't anything happening anymore. What will happen if I remove it? Will it be marked "stolen"? Will the not yet removed cards will pop up and be useable? Or is my iPad happily hacked and in use by someone already?

    Custom Mute For While On FaceTime

    Hi,

    I have looked on google and can't seem to find anyone showing how to use triple clicking the home button to mute yourself while on call. I can't seem to find anything that could work for this in the shortcuts app and was wondering if it is possible to do so. If it isn't, is there a external button or something that I can buy that can be use to mute myself. I know I can just press the mute button but I would like something so I don't have to move the iPad while on a call.

    Does anyone know of anything that I could use?

    How long does it take for you guys to charge your iPad Pro?

    I own a 12.9 in iPad Pro (4th gen) and it takes me roughly 2 hrs and 40 mins to charge. Is that also how long it takes to charge your iPads or is there an issue with my iPad/charger?

    Hey guys,

    I recently bought an iPad Pro 11 (2020) with an Apple pencil to supplement my fairly powerful Windows/Linux desktop and a dying MBP 2013. I'm currently in the middle of a career switch and am teaching myself computer science using online resources.

    What would be the best note taking app on the iPad pro for the following tasks:

    1. Taking notes from video lectures
    2. Writing pseudocode, making diagrams etc.
    3. Writing over/annotating PDFs
    4. Typing/storing useful lines/blocks of code (like github gist)
    5. Maintain flash cards for difficult/important concepts

    I would ideally want to be able to access and (occasionally edit) these across all of my devices. Couple of questions:

    1. What's the best way of achieving this? I'm currently considering a combination of a great Note taking App + a great cross-platform app for organizing notes (like Evernote/Onenote)
    2. What's the best note taking app for above needs? So far I've looked at Notability, Goodnotes, Apple Notes, MS OneNote
    3. What's the best way to store/organize/access/edit these notes across devices?
    4. Is there a better system to achieve this goal? Ideally I'd like one app to be able to handle both the parts (taking notes and storing them) but happy to consider different combinations.

    Are there any good hand written note taking apps that can sync using WebDAV, SMB, or atleast through the iOS Files app?

    I really want to get on the handwritten notes bandwagon, I'd love to have all my notes with me anywhere. I want to find something like GoodNotes, but with WebDAV or SMB syncing.

    Got a mini keyboard to work with iPad Air

    I've tried different headphones, and it's all the same. There is no debris in the headphone Jack, but it's super annoying! I know it's an old iPad and can't update. But is there anything I can do to make it go to both ears? Or does anyone know why this happens?

    Keychain isn't showing up on new iPad pro

    Basically what the title says, but I got a new iPad pro today and logged in and set it up but my keychain is not showing up, I logged out of icloud and back in and still nothing. I'm probably going to have to call apple but I wondered if anyone here has any suggestions first!

    Printing Even or Odd Pages only

    Am I missing something? I can't seem to find an option to print just Odd or Even Pages of a PDF File. Unfortunately my printer does not do Two Sided printing so I need to do it manually.

    Siri not responding at random times? (Solution)

    I just stumbled on this and thought I'd share it with people having issues activating Siri at seemingly random times.

    Ok, sometimes I would set my iPad face down in the drivers seat while driving and Siri would not work for the life of me. I've always thought it had a buggy mic or glitches in my data plan. But no......

    It all because a simple switch called "always listen for Siri" in Accessibility>Siri is turned off (I suspect it's off by default). Ugh!!

    I've been having this issue for YEARS and all it was was a toggle switch. Geeze...

    Screensaver App for wall mounted iPad?

    Thinking of using my iPad as the hub for homekit and mount it to the wall

    with all the concerns about potential burn in, is there a setting or app that automatically turns on screensaver, and when tapping the screen, just goes back to my homekit dashboard (or whatever I was looking at before the screensaver activated)

    How can I move my PDF files listed in Acrobat from the iPad storage to Adobe Document Cloud?

    I use Acrobat on my iPad to read PDFs. They are currently stored on the iPad. How can I move all my PDF files from the iPad storage to Adobe Document Cloud?

    Note that I can't transfer multiple files+folders at once from the Acrobat app on iPadOS 13 or 14 directly to my computer, which runs Windows 7.

    iPad Air 2020 average SOT / battery life?

    Hey everyone, I'm thinking about getting an iPad Air 2020. It will be my first Apple product since the iPhone 4, so I'm doing some digging into the specs and such, trying to decide if it's worth the money (personally). I've seen a good amount of posts in this sub and other forums online about disappointing battery life and it's making me nervous.

    I've watched/read some reviews and the tested battery life ranges from 5.25 hrs to 10 hrs. Usually it's a looped video but they don't always specify the conditions. But it was more than just one outlier that said ~5 hrs and that seems very low to me. Some pointed to the iPadOS 14 update and-or the MKB/Pencil for causing excessive drain, but I'm not sure if those issues were ever resolved?

    What is your usual SOT for your Air 2020 and how intensive is your use?

    I'm hoping to get some reassurance as a new buyer (last Apple product owned was from 2010, so that's basically a new buyer)! I haven't seen any recent posts like this so hopefully it's okay to ask. I've tried asking twice in the "What Should I Buy" thread but didn't get any help. Thanks
