    Hello /r/jailbreak

    Am working on a new tweak called Controla

    Controla is a tweak which will make managing phone remotely (even outside local network!) way easier.

    Controla Features:

    1. Import/delete repositories straight from the phone
    2. Managing tweaks, you can install them or uninstall them with simple click of a button
    3. Multiple remote utilities like respring, ldrestart, uicache and way more!
    4. Native Windows, Linux and macOS application (upcoming in future updates)

    Basically it's a cydia, but remotely in your web browser!

    Any other remote functions can be added, just write them in the comments!

    This tweak removes RPAN from your reddit feed. And it also removes recommended subreddits and subreddit surveys.

    [Discussion] Issue with repo not working ? - You are not alone

    I've seen multiple people in this subreddit reporting issues with repos not working properly. If you have this problem, it's because an OVH datacenter in Strasbourg (France) has been destroyed by fire, the whole area has been shuttled down, making services unreachable. There is no ETA on when it will come back like twickd (impacted by the accident) tweeted today.

    Edit:

    We plan to restart SBG1+SBG4+the network by Monday March,15 and SBG3 by Friday March,19. In RBX+GRA we have the stock of new servers, pcc, pci ready to be delivered for all the impacted customers. Of course for free. We will add 10K servers in the next 3-4 weeks. (source)

    [Tip] Cellular not working after jailbreaking with unc0ver? Restart CommCenter.

    I've seen a few people like myself that have had issues with their cellular not working after finishing the jailbreak. I saw the suggestion by one person to install TetherMe to fix it. This did in fact fix it because during installation it restarts CommCenter. If you have the deb for TetherMe or some other way of restarting it, this should get you back in action. Works 100% of the time for me.

    [Tip] If you use the tweak Runaway 0.0.4 and you have FaceID crashes, try uninstalling it

    [Discussion] Twickd repo down. Looking for a similar/alternative tweak to DopeConvos.

    In the wake of what's happened to their repo and servers going offline overnight due to an internal fire incident at their server hosting building. Read more about it here - https://docs.twickd.com/status

    I saw on Twitter last night about the game RUST and the fire at their server building didn't think much of it as I don't personally play RUST but upon waking up today to see on Twitter about the jailbreak repository Twickd and what's happened there overnight it could be possible to assume both are connected in one way or another as in the link above "A substantial amount of servers have been damaged.."

    That said I was really hoping to install/purchase DopeConvos today but unfortunately can't. Is there any similar tweaks like DopeConvos available from other repos that are compatible with iOS 14.1 (A14)?

    Well, it worked, as i did not save 14.3 blobs and i was so bored with 13.5, i tried and worked from first time .. setup is:

    11 pro, iOS 13.5, 14.2 blobs using blobsaver, windows 10, latest futurerestore

    how ?

    i won't go into details as i did nothing special, i used this tutorial : https://www.reddit.com/r/jailbreak/comments/lrgar6/tutorial_updating_an_a12_device_to_143_with/

    but before, i signed off icloud, restored rootfs, rejailbreak, i did not touch the apnonce thing, it was something like 0x1111111 in unc0ver so i left it untouched, then i rejailbreak after resstoring rootfs and did the cmd on windows.

    i had this error

    • [General FR Error] the device is put into recovery mode and then FR cannot detect it | Fix: leave your device plugged in and re-run the command again

    and then this error

    after that i booted to 14.2 and rocking a jailbroken 11Pro on 14.2 !

    I know its an odd question to ask, but I've just been wondering about this. Ive used my old ipod to test out experiments like this, and even if I tell the terminal to delete everything including root, it can still boot up. This makes me assume that:

    1. There is recovery partition that I cant access with filza

    2. There are files that I dont have permission to delete that hold recovery files

    3. My ipod isnt able to reach the point where the recovery files are at before destroying itself

    Is any of this right? Or am I just thinking too much about this and the iPod can regenerate files that are missing while the system is being torn apart?
