iOS 14.5 (18E5164h) app start from cold is pretty much instantaneous! Posted: 03 Mar 2021 11:27 AM PST My own app used to take a noticeable short moment to display first screen. After this latest developers beta, my app just instantly show from cold start. It's a very obvious improvement from before. Send notifications to Apple Watch when navigation app in use Posted: 03 Mar 2021 08:34 AM PST When driving and using a nav app like Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze, I wish the watch still received notifications (like texts) regardless of the phone screen being on. While driving I like receiving notifications to my watch because it allows me to view them quickly and safely and determine if anything is important enough to pull over for.
