    Apple TV+ App - Parental Controls for TV Shows not fit for purpose in UK?

    Not my post on Apple Support, but essentially the same issue (quoted for ease of reference):

    I have got the Apple TV app running on an Amazon Fire TV. I have attempted to set up restrictions so that my youngest child could not access age-inappropriate content (both TV Shows and Movies).

    The restrictions for Movies works as expected - when you try and open a Movie with a rating above the restricted level, you are prompted for the passcode.

    For TV Shows when you try and set restrictions for the UK, you are only presented with 'No TV Shows', 'Caution' or 'Allow all TV Shows' as the level of restriction. It seems that the only rating of TV show for UK audiences is 'Caution' so in practice, this means that either all TV Shows are blocked and do not appear in the app or all TV shows are visible without requiring the passcode.

    In my case I am in the UK and have just installed the AppleTV+ App on a Roku. My Roku is intended for use entirely by small children. I don't want adult-rated content to even appear in the catalogue that they may browse. This misfeature is an absolute show-stopper for me. If I am unable to set parental controls for all content then I shall simply be cancelling. There doesn't seem to be an option to contact Apple for support, can anyone here advise?

    Adding Apple TV (3rd gen) to Home App

    Hi, I can't seem to add my Apple TV (3rd gen) to my Home App - it's connected to wifi and signed into my iCloud account but won't come up when I search under accessories and no options in the menu. Can anyone help?

    Am I crazy or do my ATV have some sort of motion detection?

    It keeps pausing my streams whenever I leave the room for a few minutes but I can't find anything in the settings.

    Audio Lag Help!

    Hello,

    I have headphones and my audio is lagging bad. Bluetooth is connected and I calibrated Wireless Audio Sync.

    Using the Disney app on Apple TV and it lags, but when I use the Disney app on my tv, audio is fine.

    Any suggestions? Thank you!

    Retro Crush App Goes To Screensaver While Video Playing

    It seems the Retro Crush anime app doesn't register as a video playing on my Apple TV, as the Apple TV will go into its screensaver mode while a video is playing.

    Using Airplay seems to fix this, but I'd rather not have to do with with every video on the app. Was wondering if there was a fix.

    King of New York (4K HDR) - Audio Quality?

    Watching the new 4K remaster and I've never heard a more terrible audio track accompanying a film in my life. The dialogue in particular is a disgrace.

    Sounds like it's been recorded in mono onto an analogue C60 cassette and copied 10 times until it's degraded beyond all recognition.

    Anyone else noticed this?

    Heyyyyy AppleTV peeps....

    I don't own any Apple products so I'm stuck. I want Apple tv on my tv or laptop. I have an LG smart tv & a Lenovo 310. My son said I'm SOL. Is there any way for me to get it on either device? I have the Apple tv page on my TV but it won't let me log in or even click the free 30 day trial. The buttons are there, I just can't click on them. The page on my laptop says I have to first log into an Apple device, which I don't have. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A01. I can log into my Apple acct there but not Apple tv. And if all else fails....where can I pirate it? Or is that a big no no? Ugh thanks so much xoxo
