Apple Help Any idea why my iPhone is receiving messages in this text?

I'm having an issue where my laptop screen doesn't turn on until I open it past 90 degrees. I have to replace the keyboard anyway so I figured I'd fix that issue at the same time. I just need to know what part it is I need to replace so I can order it before I tear my laptop apart, so that I don't have to take it apart twice. Do I just need a replacement display hinge? Thanks ahead of time.

Is There a Way to Airplay from iPhone to MacBook Pro?

Hi there!

I am currently listening to the Youtube Music app on my iPhone X and it generated a playlist that I don't want to lose, but want to listen to it on my computer vs my phone. I started it while running errands and then when I got home I tried looking up ways to even potentially screen share my phone with my computer. So far what I have found is that I could do it through QuickTime Player if I hooked it up via cord, or download an app that I'd have to pay for.

My question is- I know you can pick a YouTube video on your phone and share it so it streams to your tv, but is there a way that you can do the same thing but instead do it from your iPhone X (Will be switching to a 12 Pro if that changes anything) to MacBook Pro (2020)?? If not, why??

Family Sharing Not Working

This is a problem I've been having for months. If I navigate to my families purchases(on my laptop) I can see them, but I can't access them in any way. I'll click on it but it wont open up the details or play. It gives me the option to download stuff, but then I still can't access anything. How do I fix this?

Brand new iPhone not functioning

My grandma just got a new iPhone 11. It originally worked but now the phone will not turn off as in the screen is always on and the power button will not do anything. You can swipe the screen and also use the search bar but it also cannot open any apps. If you know what is happening or how to fix it please let me know.

MacBook M1 16GB RAM BUYING Advice

Moeders please remove if I'm violating any rule I don't think I read any which would indicate so. Currently in uk and planning to get the 16GB RAM M1 chip MacBook. However, I would need to buy it in a pay monthly option. I would buy it from Currys or John Lewis or other sites but they don't seem to have 16gb ram with 13 inch MacBook which has the m1 chip and the only way I can seem to get that is through Apple. Can anyone tell me how I can pay for it monthly in the course of 6 months or a year? I have Barclays debit card and PayPal but I haven't lived in the UK for even 1 year. If anyone can point me to any other website where I can get the m1 with 16gb ram and 1tb storage and I could pay in instalments it would really help me out.

[AirPods 2nd Gen] Only connect in 1 ear 75% of the time

I've got a pair of AirPods that are just over 1 year old. Haven't used them that often (like twice a week for about 30-60 mins), so I would say they're still in pretty good condition. When they work, they work as they should. Both sound great and have lasted for hours at a time.

If I take the left AirPod out of the case, I will only ever get sound out of that side. The right side will absolutely not connect.

If I take the right side out of the case first, I have to wait to hear it make the sound first and then take out the left AirPod.

If I take out the left AirPod before the right has made the sound, the left will connect and again no sound from the right.

I've tried to "forget" the device on the 2 devices I connect to (iPhone and iMac) as well as holding the button on the case to reset things.

This issue has persisted for a few months now and I've reinstalled iOS at least twice in that time with no resolution.

Right now I'm on an iPhone 7+ w/ iOS 14.4.1 and the AirPods have firmware 3A283 which is the latest as far as I'm aware.

Is there anything else I can try to do so that I don't need to keep trying to get them to connect correctly?

My MacBook Air Charger constantly emits amber light even when it isn’t plugged into my computer. No longer charges my computer. Is there a way to fix this or should I just buy a new one? Computer seems to be working fine, just unable to turn on due to the lack of power.

Apple won't unlock my disabled account!

I just bought my first iPhone today. I have an existing Apple ID using my personal email address. I really only used the account in the past for iTunes and haven't used it in some time (a few years?). A year or so ago, my Apple account was hacked, but I immediately reported it and changed my password and had no further issues. Today, I excitedly brought home my first iPhone - a new 12 Pro Max. As I was getting setup, I was alerted my Apple account was disabled. I logged into the Apple website on my Windows computer. My username and password work just fine. I was able to answer all my security questions. I was able to enter the code from my new phone into my Apple account online. Basically, I have access to all my security info that Apple could possibly want. The account still kept coming up disabled. I contacted Chat support. After their investigation, they reported they would not be able to unlock my existing Apple account and that my Apple ID and iTunes accounts were permanently disabled. I asked to have my case escalated and spoke with a Media Service Senior Advisor. The verdict was the same. They would not allow me to dispute the incident any further. I am furious. How can I not have access to my own account that uses my own personal email? I find it hard to believe that a single, obvious case of hacking that I took quick and appropriate action to resolve would cause this. They refused to tell me why. I can't even put into words how angry I am. I don't want to create another email account just for Apple. I want my account that I already own. Sadly, I am so upset and soured on the whole experience with Apple's handling of my account today that I plan to just return my new iPhone tomorrow and opt for a new Galaxy Note instead. I'm so disappointed and frustrated. Anyone else ever experience this??

iCloud videos not in full resolution

Hi, I'm running out of space on my iPhone and was thinking about finally using the Optimize Photos option. Will save me 20GB😳But, I want to make sure that nothing would happen to my photos and videos. I'm not sure entirely how it works, but I read that basically all the "full resolution" versions would be stored in iCloud? Well, I haven't done anything yet but went to my iCloud on the website just to check out my photos on videos there. But all the videos I click on are perfectly HD for like the first second, then immediately downgrade to a poor & blurry quality. Why is this happening? Now I'm annoyed and worried I can't optimize photos yet, even though I think it's true that I can go back to full res on my iphone or download some full res versions anytime I want (correct me if I'm wrong). My photos&videos are priority, so please help me out. Sorry for the long text and thank you!!

14.4.1 Apple Watch issue?

For context, I have the series 2 Nike edition Apple Watch, 1st gen AirPods, and an iPhone XR. I also use Apple Music for my music playing

I saw the notif for the new Apple update, it was whatever I let it update last night. Now, every time I get a notification on my Apple Watch, it pauses my music I'm playing through my AirPods. I don't know if it's the update or what— I tried lowering my sound down on my watch but even with it at zero it still stops my music :( I don't want to put my stuff on DND or silent cause some notifications I get are important... I was wanting to see if there was any other way of fixing this other than turning all non-important notifications off on my watch

Should I get a new laptop?

I was wondering if I should buy the current Mac air 13 inch or wait it out? I currently have a Mac air 13inch early 2014. I love this computer. It's been my rock. Unfortunately I'm always afraid it will someday just not turn on based on how old it is, and it recently got a pretty decent sized scratch in the top left corner of the screen. Any opinions are welcome.

For more context - It would be a full day trip to go to an apple store and get a new laptop, I wouldn't be able to drive ten minutes and replace it.

Can I unlock an old IPod

everytime i open safari after not being on it for a certain amount of time it randomly opens an old tab instead of the last tab i was on .

it never used to do this up until i recently updated my phone .

it's annoying because then i have to keep scrolling to find the last tab i recently was on .
